Champagne £5 at Asda - misprice ... quick!!!

just ordered 12 bottles with the option for substitutes hopefully i will get something.

Last time we ordered the 10p wine and ended up with lambrusco, rang up asda checked the stock of the wine i had ordered and then got them to swap the lambrusco for the original wine.

Just checked my credit card online and it is showing payment as pending @ 6 x £4.97 plus delivery for 6 bottles due this afternoon fingers crossed.

When I put the voucher code in first time it seemed to be accepted, I finalised order, etc and then realised I was being charged delivery. So I went in to change my order and realised that once you have input the voucher code you need to tick to say use this voucher code (or words to that effect). Could that be what the problem is? Try going back in and amending your order.

ordered last night x6 bottles - Asda rang this am to say they were out of stock but would substitute it with a brut, and if I am not happy with the substition to send it back with driver and they will reimburse me. Even if it is they're own label (£15.12) still will be very happy - will let you know after delivery comes (12-2pm).

Well I am going to give it a go, will send it back if it doesn't work.
Am I right in thinking that Asda used to do home delivery from a dedicated warehouse rather than from a store?
Never used them for home delivery before so will hopefully be able to use the free delivery code!

Asda do this they pre-auth on the online amount then do a seperate authorisation for the actual amounts... loads of threads about people with 2 lots of authorisation amounts and only 1 actual debit from Asda..but it ties up 2 lots of £ for a few days.

not a problem with a healthy balance but could be if you didn't have much balance.
