Champagne £5 at Asda - misprice ... quick!!!

So can somebody clarify does it ring through the tills at £4.97 or is it just online?!

I did a shopping while ordering the drink and as my order was over £50 I got a free delivery code, bonus.
I have ordered 8 bottles (usefull for Xmas) if I am charged the full price I will not accept them, simple.
On second thoughts I may argue the point, 6pm Monday delivery, cant wait : )

It is still online for me. I'm going for it with 6 bottles and see what happens. I thought Asda also did that price match thing anyway so if they ran out of that champagne they have to give you another champagne and only charge that price of the original? Here's hoping anyway........

I couldnt see it online at first but it came up when I typed the name in the search and still showing the misprice. Their website says it's updated overnight and it loks like you should be charged the price on the day - so even if the store price is correct I'm assuming we should really still only be charged what the site shows today. My delivery slot between 11 and 1pm too so will post the outcome later!

I'm such an idiot - I've just realised I took the ticks off for substitutes as I usually do but on this as well! I'm pretty sure that I wont get any now as they can just say it was out of stock!

No, as it's for delivery today. The latest I could change it was at 10pm last night. I wonder how long the price will stay on the web now though as it's supposed to update overnight and they knew about it yesterday. I'll see what happens when my order turns up (can see it now "I'm sorry, these were unavailable") Will still keep my fingers crossed anyway!

Asda called to cancel our delivery for this morning. The chap there told me they had non in stock and when I asked about substitution he advised that there was nothing in the same price range that he could authorise. I asked him if it was more of the case that it would cost them too much money and he confirmed. Oh well, worth a try, hope others are lucky.
