Checked the stock pretty much everywhere in the north of england - no joy
i done an internet stock check on sunday and got 'out of stock' everywhere in the north east too, but i popped into teeside park on monday on the off chance and they had 3 on the shelf, maybe worth phoning them because i read on another site that when the stock gets down to 5 it flags up as out of stock on the currys web site.
just checked and berwick and edinburgh still got some in stock today,0 -
Thought it too good to be true! - have looked at a lot of places in the UK and it seems that they are sold out!never mind!0

After looking through your mails on this breadmaker I went on line for my nearest Currys only to find all branches for fourty miles around South Yorkshire were out of stock.
I then looked around Northamton were my couson lives and was ready to phone and ask her to get me one only to find the same there, All Out Of Stock.
I set of for my local branch and found one on display only to be told that they were not allowed to sell the display Item as It had to be kept for when new stock came in.
I told the sales lady ' But there's not going to be any new stock, As It's a discontinued line and thats why It being sold off at this price, When It come back into stock It's going to be under the Logic brand. I'm sory to apear a know it all but I've been on line all morning trying to find one and found out that It's only being sold off to change the name ' The sales Lady went to see the manager and came back 5 minutes later and told me If I wanted the display one I could have it.0 -
Right have been reading with interest and very luckily found my most local store (one in North Manchester) had 3 in, so...
Have just been and got one! yay! :j
Lynsey - have thought you have been great through this, so i hope you don't mind that i have PM'd you for that fab sheet of bread mix MOC's of yours... as i think they will most certainly come in handy..
Worth this price for the smell alone, i just adore baking bread smell!
Very chuffed to see it can make donuts/cakes too! lol
Thanks so much to OP and Lynsey, will try and report in for first loaf baked! lol

Morocha - i just did a 'light wholemeal' loaf following receipe in the booklet using wholemeal and strong white flour etc so you dont need the ready mix stuff.
The loaf turned out lovely, its still warm and crispy crust with nice warm soft middle....mmmm....can see me piling on the pounds here eating buttered bread!
The paddle was stuck in the bottom but come out easily with the wire thing they give you.
Kinda feels odd to get a loaf without much effort.
Now i need a breadmaker loaf sized tin to keep the bread in.....time to dive into the depths of the kitchen cupboards!Logic will get you from A to B but imagination can take you anywhere!
Being honest may not get get you a lot of friends - but it will get you the right ones.
Let your past make you better, not bitter.0 -
i am unable to find this in and around Glasgow - i guess its all gone now :-(0

Rang my local store (Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire) and they had two left! so bagged myself one - only thing is the instruction book is missing - which is strange as the box was sealed - anyone got the info leaflet they could send me as don't know how to use it otherwise!

Sent msn26 - glad I didn't delete these. :rotfl:
Tesco have the same model (tesco own brand) for pence under £38.

I got 2 bread mixes to try (mixed grain and sunflower), see how they go and will try a "normal" loaf.
Those who don't use bread mixes, how much water and dried yeast do you use per 500g of flour??
