^^ Well unless you can sell the TT and buy the Fiat outright with that money, your going to be losing money, not saving it.

Currently drive an Audi TT so I know that this will not be more costly.

That does explain an awful lot.

There are people who buy cars as if they are washing machines and there are people who buy cars as if they are handbags.

You appear to be in the latter category.

These two groups of people are never going to agree.

It's a very good way of putting it..... Never thought of that one.

The later I assume means that a person buys a car as a fashion accessory, while the former buys it for transportation.

    Exactly. A 500 is a handbag, a Panda is a washing machine.

At far less cost as well.

In fact you can get almost 2 washing machines for the price of one handbag..:)

Funny old world we live in.

Me, I could not give a fart what anybody thinks about my mode of transport, it serves my needs, it is paid for, it is reliable, that is all I care.;)

    Audi TT, Fiat 500.

Both cars, IMO, bought by people who would like to think they are stylish individualists and seek to prove it by buying the same car as all the other people who think they are individualists.

Triumphs of marketing over substance, both.
