OMG  I leave you guys alone for a few days and you all get the manic Flylady bug and go crazy! It's wonderful to think about all these houses being cleaned and decluttered!
Been Flying like crazy and getting my head round my new routine now I'm at home full time and DS has started pre-school so I'm trying to limit the time I spend on MSE. When I reward myself 15 mins it takes me that long to catch up on the thread!!
Anyway, OH finally returns tomorrow morning after 10 days away and will be coming home to a very clean/tidy/decluttered house!
Everyday I now:
Make beds
Empty & load DW
15 min tidy through the house
Put wash on
Iron wash
Swish and Swipe (now called Swizz and Whizz - nice one Flyboy)
15 min clear hotspots (office, email and kitchen)
Then I find a few 'bigger' jobs to do
Still to do today:
Finish last 7 items in what was ironing pile from hell!
Dust lounge
Cooking / baking
Office & email hotspots.
Welcome TrickyVicky and all other new Flybabies.
TNG / Flyboy - so very sorry to hear about your family member :grouphug: Been thinking about you even though not been posting.
Troo - I love your posts, great attitude and you make meand :rotfl:
Snowy - think I'll also add some financial flying to my to do list - great
Baileys Babe - how do I strike through my to do list?
Will now put on Scissor Sisters (good suggestion The Bride) and do some cooking with help from DS - shold be a laugh if not edible.

cha97michelle wrote:- sort out internet banking done - and also dealt with emails. Forgot my pay goes up today, so £150 better off than i thought, and also worked out we now have enough credit card points for £70 of mothercare vouchers :T
- clean out kitchen cupboards as they are currently making me hide in shame done the 2 by the sink. Main problem was bottles knocked over, and an xs of carrier bags, so it now looks loads better (dare i admit to only throwing 1 thing out?)
- do a few loads of DH's washing to catch up again (weather will allegedly be very nice today) jeans swinging in the breeze as we speak, now there are more jeans, tshirts, and a load of towels too!!
- clean bathroom suite done - plus, washed all the tiles, woodwork, and had a good tidy up of the toiletries we have in there. Now peeving me off a lot less than it has done in 2 years since we moved in, and MIL emptied out all spare toiletries onto my windowsill. There are still a lot, but now sorted so it looks less, and i actually threw some really horrible ones out
- put away last nights washing up, clean sink and draining board
- clean top of cooker
- wash towels in blowing merrily on the line
- wash bedding - might delay this one till tomorrow as i am not sure i want to put all sheets back on myself
I've also put the compost out, bleached the cat litter tray, and i am going to nip upstairs in a minute and run the hoover round up in the bathroom and on the landing, so i can put back down the mats that i washed a few weeks ago.
I'm well pleased with how today has gone.

Welcome to new OS flyladies
Huggles to those that need them - actually huggles to everyone here whether you need one or not.
I'm just NOT motivated todayI did vacuum as I promised myself, and brushed stairs (I can't figure out how to vacuum those). But the floors need mopping again and it's just too much bother. OK OK I'm going! I can feel the vibes from you lot from here!
All kitties fed/watered twice, and plates washed up, twice. Justin injects insulin into one each morning, but I'll have to do it tonight (it's necessary but I'm always scared to do it myself). (Fed 4 time per day, and injected twice).
At least the 'must' is started - see my last post! Took hours last night sorting out those tiny grapes.
Will come back later IF I've done anything - otherwise I'm hiding from you!The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Lots of references to this Flylady - but who or what is she? Got the idea it is some super domesticated person, but must have missed the first reference in the chain.:j Every day in every way, learning to money save:j0

Have a peek here Vicky http://www.flylady.net/index.asp - it'll make more sense once you've seen the site
I've mopped one and a half floors - got fed up with playing musical chairs with the mop. Are you all going to shun me over leaving the other half?
I've done nothing much else. Tidied up a BIT, swished loo/bathroom and done washing up. Not a lot to show for a whole day is itNot even started on any mending or craftwork. Sat here brooding mainly, and Justin will be home soon. No dinner for him again. I'm a BAD wife (he won't have me say it though).
Michelle - I read that you'd bleached the cat  had to have a retake on it. (Must put glasses on next time).
BIG HUG to Lynzpower - hope things turn around for youThe reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

No - not quite. One of them is covered in paint though. He already had paint on his tail from 2 weekends ago when he brushed against the tin of paint while DH was painting the living room, then today, he followed me up the garden to the compost bin and next door neighbour was painting his garden fence, and he managed to get some of that on him too.
I'm thinking of changing his name to joseph as he certainly is in technicolour now.
The daft haporth is more dog like the way he follows me round.
Fly lady finished for the day, and i am now going to sit with my feet up. All of the hall/stairs/landing is now sparkly. All woodwork is washed, windows cleaned, and carpet thoroughly hoovered. Have i caught up yet moggins???

Hi Jo. Good to see you posting as yourself. Even though you say you're not motivated hoovering should make a big difference.Punky x0

They're just on their 3rd feed of the day - I'm scared to do this insulin injection
Anyone brave enough to come round and do it for me? Justin will be late home from work so it's up to me (has to be done every 12 hours).
Have tidied around a bit more, but tbh there's not much else I want to do unless it's a massive dust of the shelves in the dining room. A few things I OUGHT to be doing, but they're not important really (e.g. finish making a 'Victorian' nightdress case - why??)The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Hi Jo what is the scarey bit for you? When we have to give our cat a pill I wrap it really tightly in a big old towel to keep it's paws together, is that an option for you?
Did a quick rescue of the kitchen whilst cooking tea. Pots from allotment and beans from the garden which is a real treat and the kids sweetly say these taste best when you grow them.
Real tired so doubt I'll do much today but I hope to sew some labels on uniform, do some mending later. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
