Hi Dusty... It's not so much that he squirms, he's EVER so good and just lets us do whatever we need to. BUT I'm terrified of needles! It's a real phobia I suppose. I made a bit of a hash of it as I was shaking. The needle bent, and I hadn't actually injected him first time, so the poor boy had to be re-done with a blunter needle. I just hope I didn't give him too much. It's worrying and I feel bad about it now. Ah well, it's done.
Now to do the floor and washing up again. I want a dishwasher and enough cat plates for four meals per day, and a machine that washes vinyl floors too!
I'm not cooking tonight - been too miserable to think of food (forgot to eat again today).
Hi Punky - see what happens when you leave us alone - I don't do much, and get miserable. Get back on here doing some encouraging please!!!The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Jo, you are doing brilliantly! Please don't worry what anyone else thinks, thank you for your pm, it was lovely and I will take you up on it one day.
If it's good enough for you and your DH then it should be good enough for anyone else.
P.s. if you are worried about visitors and potential smells just open all the windows for 30 minutes before they come. The fresh air will blast anything away.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Got everything done yesterday except print off the grocery list sheets - so will do that right now!!
Today:
Take DS4 out to SPCA - he volunteers there each weekend - DONE
Quick tidy up around the house - DONE
Dust - DONE
Clean our bathroom - DONE
Take MIL up town this afternoon (also did this yesterday, but the nets she bought have to be taken back - they don't match!!!)
Take MIL visiting - her Sister-in-law died last night so we will be visiting with family.
DH is cooking dinner tonight so I don't have to worry about that.
Tomorrow we are tackling the big job of putting up curtains/blinds in all the bedrooms. Can't believe people spend so much money on them. I picked all mine up on sale - most were 40 - 50% off - but know of people who have spent thousands! We have been using sheets and blankets up till now LOLIf there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -

Morning everyone
This morning I have to hoover, clean floors and then start on the washing mountain. Not much else planned today as DS is going to cycle club and then on to his dads. DH is going to work soon so it will just be me and DD, I'm hoping to get some baking done for school on Monday as they are severely limited in what they can take in their lunchboxes now.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Hiya all :hello:
Plans have changed AGAIN
I worked from 11am til 2 pm yesterday, mr troo picked me up after work and we were too late to pick up the carpet cleaner. So we went for a drive and ended up in Thornbury, went shopping in Somerfield - first time we've shopped there, I've decided I quite like them lol - then went for a drive down all the little lanes. Oh you should have seen all the free fruit - blackberries, sloes (is that how you spell sloes?), apples and pears. Trouble is we didn't plan on fruit picking and only had an empty lunch box and a beer glass in the car so we filled them with blackberries. We'll be going back for more :T We were given loads of cooking apples so my house today will smell like apple and blackberry crumbleWe bought some tayberry bushes for the garden too. And someone gave us 2 vines so hopefully we'll have grapes next year.
I'd have missed all that if I'd been good and stayed in to fly. Sometimes being lazy turns out really well :rotfl:
I've got the house to myself today so I'll start sorting those books.
Not much flying at all really for today, I'm starting to wonder if this would've been better on the daily thread :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
I'm not sure what flying will get done today either.
Last night as there was nothing on the telly, once the sun had moved off the windows a bit i cleaned my living room window, patio doors in the dining room, and the window in the kitchen door. I only did the inside as the window cleaners or DH can do the outside, but it does look better to be free of kitty prints and blobs of paint.
I think i will try and finish off some of the bits from yesterday. They were
- wash my bedding
- clean sink
- clean draining board
- clean cooker top
I should really catch up on some of the paperwork i could have done yesterday for school.
I've already had one load of my school clothes on to wash, so i need to get them on the airer as it is poor weather here today. (good job i was off work yesterday or i wouldn't have done as much as i have.)
Then my sister will be here about 6, so i will be packing my bag for the hospital as she is in shock that i haven't done it yet.
House is looking so much better so thanks moggins for the new thread.
