Justin and I are STILL picking tons of grapes off their stalks ready to make wine - 1/2 bag done, 2 more to go. The grapes are tiny! Fed up with this lark. I'll be up all night at this rate. Is it one of those "life's too short" jobs? It wouldn't be so bad if we actually liked a glass of wine every now and then, but I just didn't want to waste them.grapes-1.jpg

Well done to Dustykitten, Churchmouse, Purpleprincess & Joannasmum for their hard work today!

    I didn't vacuum carpet :( It's now on tomorrow's to do list.

Finally finished grapes at 11.15pm! 18lbs of teensy grapes - still more to do, but that's ENOUGH! This wine had better be good.

Jo have you tried using a fork to strip them from the stalks? That's how I strip elderberries and if the grapes are really small that might just work?

I got home from work yesterday at 5.30pm, ate some bread and butter and fruit, jumped in the shower then went to a meeting. Got home at 11pm. The washing's been on the line for 2 days - it keeps raining  I've had to put a load of boxers in the dryer, boytroo and mr troo have no underwear  Hope it's dry before boytroo has to leave for work :D

I've given up flying for this week, I'll start again on monday
