    morning flyers

No flying for me. Im not so well, and I usually avoid alcohol. Last night i succumbed to the peer pressure and then spent all of last night until 5 this morning ( sorry TMI) throwing up. And I slept, if you can call it that on the sofa. Im now having the remains of an apple crumble for breakfast to try adn sort me out :o thats just warming in the oven now :D

So no flying, I will be recuperating. Maybe Ill fly under the stairs to that bag of old videos and look for pretty woman or something equally taxing on the brain. Ill be lying on the sofa and feeling sorry for myself and randomly posting here today.

Although I do have a freecycler coming around midday. thats an achievment- right?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Sorting my life out one day at a time
  • :rotfl: Oh Lynzpower:rotfl:

try a banana whizzed up with half a pint of cold milk. Works wonders for the hangover;) My last hangover took me two days to get over,(for me it's an age thing:eek: ).

Pantry sorted and one double cupboard, and the spice drawer.
All spice jars labled on the top of the lids, so I don't have to keep sorting through to find the right jars.

Just got two cupboards and under the sink to do. I keep putting off the under sink one, it's just too terrifying:eek: .

A well deserved coffee break, then onwards and upwards:D
  • My flat is just awful!!!!!!!! :o mission flaylady tonight with a helping hand from boyf!!! Hope I manage to sort it all out!!!! Will let you know!!

    Debt @ 01/01/2014 £16,956 Debt now: £0.00 :j
Aims:[STRIKE] clear debt, get married, buy a house[/STRIKE] :D ALL DONE!!
  • I'm sitting in my office thinking about all the domestic stuff that needs doing back home. Trouble is, I work full time and am too whacked when I get home to tackle the chaos. (Maybe lazy?:o ) So, weekends are when I get the chores done. I'd love to be really organised and have a tidy house with no overstuffed cupboards and a place for everything.

Some of your recipes sound gorgeous too - I'd like to do more with the slow-cooker and also try to eat a proper lunch. No canteen or shops near my work, so I tend to buy expensive sandwiches from the mobile delivery. I really am sick to death of sandwiches - need something yummy for lunch. AND save myself about £3.00 per day! We have a microwave on site - any ideas?

Hoping to catch the ability to organise myself.

Foreverskint, what a brilliantly simple idea!!! I'm on my half-hour break now, but as soon as it's finished I'm at the spice jars with a black marker pen!! Should save hours and a lot of wear and tear on my temper over the coming months!!! Thanks!:T :D

Hi TrickyVicky welcome to Old Style :)

The living room is tidied, the dining room is decluttered and almost there. All things taken down to the cellar bar the picnic stuff which I need to wrap in polythene before it goes down there. DW loaded, bags in the car ready for shopping tomorrow. 2 important phone calls made. Packaging from the new microwave now completely gone. DD's clean clothes put away. Roll on tomorrow when the bin men come.

I just have the hoovering to do now and I keep putting it off, I don't know why as I normally love pulling Henry through the house. I think I will go and make myself a coffee and then when that is finished I have no excuse not to do it.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
