Oooooooooh psycic - I just came in from the kitchen where my 2 cats have come in from the rain with wet paws and I thought to my self what is it like for Jo when her 18 cats come in with their 72 paws - that's a lot of prints before they start walking around!

Just found this on the freebie thread where I hang out in the evening.

    http://www.speedyhousecleaning.com/book.html

I have sent off for one

    [STRIKE]Put away clean washing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Buy nephews birthday present & card[/STRIKE]
    Open and deal with post
    [STRIKE]Prepare for Wedneday[/STRIKE]

    30 mins on hot spot

Some progress has been made, which is suprising as I have had 2 long days at work.

I find it encouraging to write a list which others see, then report back my progress and read about others acheivements and realise I'm not the only person who has some tasks which just move from list to list and are never tackled. I would like to say a big thank you to moggins for starting this thread and to everybody for all your support.:A

Dusty - it's not really THAT bad - it WOULD be 71 paws if 3-legged Oliver would come in, but she won't, so it's only 68. :rotfl: Do yours flick it up the walls too when they're soaking/muddy? STARDROPS!!

I have a mop and bucket for 'their' room, and have taught myself how to use them with my disability. Then I come back to MSE and wait for it to dry. I don't try to walk on the wet bits in case I fall over. I honestly didn't think I could DO floors until I tried, so very pleased with myself and so is Justin. I can now vacuum using the same technique too.

Of course, they also have access to the whole house and climb on almost every bit of furniture/windowsill - but we do manage to keep a clean house MOST of the time. NOT allowed in the kitchen or bathroom I might add. At least we're all tidy here :)

Pfft I'm rambling - sorry bout that... I'll get me coat...

WELL DONE Churchmouse (no longer a mouse I take it!) and THANKS Moggins for your support too. I've had a great day and feel MUCH better than I did last week, let's hope it stays like this for a few more days.

Tomorrow I will HAVE to get off my bot because all the floors are now covered in cat prints (due to a bad storm here tonight). At least I can eat cake with my coffee tomorrow!

D'YA NOTICE ANYTHING DIFFERENT ABOUT ME?

Do you know Jo, I think maybe I'm not going to be such a "mouse" in future, But I still like my username!!!! Hope you carry on feeling better!

    Washing to do
    Dust all downstairs
Put shopping bags into car ready for tomorrow
Phone eldest DD about her cat play centre thing
wrap picnic baskets and cool bags so they are air tight and put them into the cellar.
    make sausage casserole for tea
put away clean laundry in DD's room
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Please moggins, may I have a day off?
I know the bedroom is still in mid-declutter, but the bed is usable, honest!
But you should see the amount of junk that has gone!!!!
Some binned, some recycled & some in the cupboard to be ebayed (when I work out how to do it!)
But today we have a home-ed trip, so I won't be able to do anything til this evening.
I'm not being lazy! (much as I would like to!)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Woken up with a sick headache (must be the weather) so off to a slow start today I'm afraid!

I see that Kellys challenge is to shine the shower or bath, well I still don't have a shower (hopefully will have by next week) so it will have to be the bath that gets a shine.

After that it's a load of washing and a 5 min rescue in the bedroom to see what I can find this time (like a treasure hunt:D )

As the bathroom is still a work in progress my chosen zone is the kitchen, last night I cleaned the oven door with stardrops (boy what a difference) so I am going to see what else the stardrops can improve in there, shiny sinks? might brave the larder again as I have to make a start on the inventorys.

Hello Jo138 :hello: we come from the same neck of the woods, storm was terrible last night wasn't it? My cat hid in the bedroom so no soggy paw prints here!

    Have a good day everyone!

    Catz x
