Tesco Meal Deal £9 Glitch still working

Damn, wish I'd read this before I went in. I've been waiting for some decent dishes before I tried again and this time there are two or three nice looking meals and they didn't go through.

If anyone does this in future, make sure you check tesco.com beforehand for all the items in the deal, in my local not all the items are in the meal deal section (namely 6-pack coke and some desert items). The pecan pies were nice but quite sweet.

I saw the offer on the Tesco website on Thursday night when working the night shift. Went to Tesco specially on Friday morning, but there was a sign on the fridge stating that it was unavailable due to systems issues.

I went to Customer Services to see if there was anyway they could honour the deal. They called a manager and I complained that I had been lured into the store, after a night shift, on false pretenses. Apparenly the systems issue had been ongoing for the past 2 days.

I phoned Head Office and argued my case. They are apparently going to send me some vouchers as compensation.

From the extra chicken kievs that was going through the tills, lets hope Mr T didnt order extra kiev's with the glitch now not working!!!

Wish this offer still worked with mains as the chicken breasts on it just now are fab. However managed to get two desserts instead of a side and as parahandy posted it works with two sides too
