Tesco Meal Deal £9 Glitch still working

The entire deal 'normal' isn't working either

It's only working online if you get the full meal deal one of each item.

I went through the self check out and did the two mains a pud and the wine a few days ago and it went through ok. I kept it separate from the rest of my shopping to make sure it worked.
If we all do the same and keep everyone posted it will make sure we all know where we are at.

Yes, the meal deal is working online, but with the correct dishes only, not the two mains instead of a side.

I don't think Tesco exactly minded the glitch or they could have stopped it. There must be other shoppers like me -
I rarely go there normally (Sainsburys and Waitrose are just as near) and here I am, having done my last 3 big shops in Tescos to take advantage of that deal! I wouldn't have bothered normally as I don't think most of their ready meals are all that special. But at £9 for 2 of them with a dessert and bottle of wine!....... that was a bargain. Thank you Mr T for not taking it down before.

(it's all helped with the M&S boycott too........I was able to pass their Dine in for £10 last weekend with no regrets............. I have determined to buy nothing that isn't ludicrously reduced from them from now on. So much for their "commercial decision" in Bristol!)

I also pass any of their deals by if they are not 'worth' it. Recently there's not been much worth having.
I'm lucky to have nearly all the biggies nearby, and I go round them all 'picking'. (Not in the same day). I NEVER EVER get all my shopping in one shop. I know not everyone is able to do this, but there is massive savings to be had if you can. If there is any good finds I buy as many as I can for the store cupboard and the freezer.
I've shop for my daughters as well ( 1 student, one on mat leave). They would starve if I didn't help them out. I also get bits and pieces for neighbours and friends, and they do likewise, we text each other when we are out shopping reporting any finds.
I love MSE it allows me to keep on top of any offers and my finger on the pulse. And the money in MY pocket.

well it *definitely* didn't work in my store yesterday with 2 mains - and I had the kievs too... maybe it's store specific now?

Didn't work for me yesterday in store either - with two mains. Now am very puzzled about whether to try again. Like the previous poster said, may be store specific? I didn't get the kievs but was still hoping for a bargain - and got well and truly stung!

just been to another store - they had taken down all the signage for the meal deal so it seems that there are problems with this going through the till at all (even with the correct items) - I guess its watch this space for now...

I can confirm that Tesco £9 meal deal
is now Tesco £10 meal deal!

That puts it equal to M&S in cost
- but M&S has a more exciting range of meals IMO

I ordered online for delivery today. Got two sides as I didn't fancy the puddings, and that works with the deal. not really saving anything, but if you don't want one of the desserts, that is an option.

Didn't work for me. But not to be totally stung I went and picked up a side dish and went Customer Services and said "I forgot to pick up my side dish and the deal did not kick in". Got the side dish and £7 back, so not too bad.

I think the good days are over on this one!
