I got 2 mains, a wine and a pud for £8.50 yesterday - says on my bill a saving of £13.49 plus I got another 50p off the £9.99 wine :eek: (I'd never pay this) as I bought 5 other bottles (all under £3.50 for an extra 5% off!). Add this to a £12 off an £80 till spit and a £4 off from a clubcard mailing and it is still possible to get a bargain occasionally at T's

Has the great Meal Deal glitch finished?
I picked up 2 mains, a sweet and a bottle of wine today and was charged £22 with no reduction for Meal Deal
I went to Customer Service and challenged it - only to be told I had two mains and I should exchange one of them for a side.
I asked for and was given a refund.

Has anyone found the same?

yes - same happened to me today - had 2 mains and was charged full amount

Yes, I think so, last night I tried it on the net, and it didnt work, it has always worked previously....ah well, was good whilst it lasted.

In our store there are signs where the meal deal food is saying theres no meal deal on offer at the moment while a tech problem is being sorted!

in my local the signs have been taken down and replaced with another saying meal deal not working due to computer error,,,i asked supervisor and she said the deal is going up to £10 but the new signs arent available yet....hth

It's a great pity and I hate to say 'I told you so' but all the people who have abused the glitch on the internet etc have shot us all in the foot!
I predicted this a while ago and Tesco have got wind of it so we all lose!
Can we please all learn a very big lesson from this??
