I predicted this a while ago and Tesco have got wind of it so we all lose!
Can we please all learn a very big lesson from this??
Not quite sure how the "abuse" is any greater if done via store or via internet? It was only ever a matter of time before Tesco discovered the glitch, why blame anyone?0 -
Meal deal was £10 in the Mr Ts I went into on Wednesday (Brooklands, Surrey)0

yes - the meal deal has gone up to £10 now.
now then....... there is going to be 25% off all wines next week - wonder if the glitch with 6 meal deals will be working again - really stocked up last time!!0 -

It was only a matter of time before Tesco found this out,You cant blame this site for it being found out....Whats the point of having this site if you cant post these things....Many people have benefitted from this glitch because of this site, why be negative and blame the site for it finishing....Are you a school teacher???? sounds as if you are talking to a bunch of naughty kids!!!!!!!...."Can we please learn............"0 -

What has happened is that the £9 meal deal has come to an end. On the Internet it actually said that the expiry date for the offer was 21st September, so not surprising that it didn't work on 22nd.
I don't think Tesco exactly minded the glitch or they could have stopped it. There must be other shoppers like me -
I rarely go there normally (Sainsburys and Waitrose are just as near) and here I am, having done my last 3 big shops in Tescos to take advantage of that deal! I wouldn't have bothered normally as I don't think most of their ready meals are all that special. But at £9 for 2 of them with a dessert and bottle of wine!....... that was a bargain. Thank you Mr T for not taking it down before.
(it's all helped with the M&S boycott too........I was able to pass their Dine in for £10 last weekend with no regrets............. I have determined to buy nothing that isn't ludicrously reduced from them from now on. So much for their "commercial decision" in Bristol!)0 -
I went to get the £10 meal deal instore on thursday but they said that they had to take the £10 labels down in the deal section as the system was not recognising the offer.0

It's £10 now, but it still lets you have the two mains, a pud and the wine for £10 I got it yesterday. I got the Kiev's that I buy anyway. Saving £13 so. Its STILL a good deal. All they were doing instore was changing the price from £9 to £10. I'm convinced they are FULLY aware of the glitch, their marketing folk will look at MSE. It could have been sorted but they did nothing. They wont be worried they are STILL getting us in the doors and making enough profit off us to let us have the wee glitch. Why do you think they've increased the price? Don't underestimate them for a second.1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:
2nd Purse ££100Fridge Freezer £300 3rd Purse /£290.940 -
