Some staff don't even turn them on, I traded two old 3210's in, one just after Christmas when they were £29.99 without trade in and one yesterday....both times they just asked for the phone and didn't turn it on. This maybe just certain stores though.Welcome, rogerramjet.

Managed to find some in stock in the Southampton West Quay store yesterday so picked up one for me and a second for a work colleague. Traded in an Ericsson T18 and a really old Pioneer Analog phone that both turned on. Guy in the store said they were not really supposed to take in analog phones but he let me get away with it. Unlocked mine this morning using the online link provided in earlier posts so now working nicely on Vodafone. My local Fareham store were out of stock but said that they were getting a delivery next week and that would be the last of them so sounds like the deal is running out, at least for 3510i handsets.Retired so trying to save even more!0

Picked one up from Sheffield Fargate store this morning. Now unlocked and on Virgin. The guy in the shop didn't switch my trade in on and also stated they still had a few 3510i's left.:)0

Thanks to the OP - purchased 2 phones at the Bristol Galleries shop for £9.99 each after trade in includes £1 call credit and 30 free texts.
A friend went to get one today from the same shop and they've increased the price to £19.99 after trade in. Apparantly they did have another phone which he thinks was a Sagem for the £9.99 price.
The orange web site is also showing that the 3510i is out of stockHome is where the heart is and where your wallet gets a battering0 -
I have been on a waiting list at the Yeovil store for 2 of these, picked up a message on my answer phone last night saying they were in stock and reserved for 48 hours. Went to pick them up lunch time and was told the price had gone up to £19.99 after trade in, bought them any way as still perceived good value.
Got them home only to find they were not new phones, chargers covered in dust, batteries already charged, some packaging missing, some internal packaging broken, one of the screens scratched/hair on the inside, manuals clearly used. On closer inspection the boxes had been resealed.
I suspect they are returns, refurbished, ex demo or something.
Phones returned to shop for refund, Manageress a mixture or embarrassed and surly. Refused to take an interest or even comment on the 'evidence', I think she knew.
Any one else had this problem of second hand phones being passed off as new ?0 -
