Yes Seth - a great contribution! I was also told to charge the 'phone for 16 hours, but in the manual, it states that the 'phone should be charged for a minimum of 4!
Re - the recycling of the old 'phone - I understand that Orange make a contribution to UNICEF, the children's charity.
I was well impressed with the service where I bought my own, which was the Orange branch @ Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh.

I got my phone today! am really pleased as my other one was falling to pieces. I honestly didn't think there would be any left, but the young lady that served me said they had plenty in stock.
Thank you very much indeed for the tip. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0 -

be aware, that the unlock code for each phone is different!!!
you only get 5 attempts before you run out of attempts to unlock it, after which you need to unlock with data cable.
Unlock code is based on IMEI number, and network operator.0 -

Depends a lot on what software is being used, the code I gave was generated on the nokia forum page, I have noticed however, that there is differences in Virgin network codes which, in this case changes the MCC+MNC from 23430000 to 23400001, also calculating with the griffin clip not the V2 code made the difference.
Still, much easier than the old 3210 days where you had to dismantle the phone and short pins on the eprom chip whilst running the unlock software to unlock them :PWelcome, rogerramjet.
