I have an old phone - but no charger or box - does anyone know if I can use that as a trade-in?Mr. Corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news immediately0

Yep. No probs. Wife just took her (not-working-perfectly) siemens phone in and got the deal. Ring them first if you want to make sure - go to https://www.orange.co.uk and use the shop finder for your nearest store.0

I just bagged 3 3510i's & traded-in 3 old banger phones too !! Total price £29.97 ! Excellent !0

Have they dropped the price recently then ? I bought one for my mother a couple of weeks ago in our local Orange shop but had to pay 19.99 with a trade in (handset only, no charger of manual needed). At a tenner I'd buy one for myself as a spare handset, particularly as I can probably get it unlocked cheaply and use my Vodafone SIM in it.Retired so trying to save even more!0

Yep ! It's only £9.99 instore with an old mobile as a £10 trade-in (No charger or sim required, but they do ask for the phone to power on)

Went into the Orange shop in Cribbs Causeway Bristol, with a tatty old Phillips Savvy, no charger, that had been sat in my drawer for 2years. Had no problems. Have now got a lovely phone that we will give to our young grandson as a birthday pressie. Many thanks to the original poster.Mr. Corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news immediately0

Anyone unlocked one of these phones from the Orange shop? I want to buy 3 tomorrow!!
I looked at the guides and think it is a dct4 phone?

I want to use a contract SIM from Orange (with no monthly fee) once unlocked I assume I just pop the SIM in?
I've read some review that these phones were unreliable but these reviews date from 2002 when this was the latest phone. All the posts seems to say other than old software there are no problems with these phones. Any feedback appreciated.
Any advice help appreciated!Seth.0 -

I used the online link above and unlocked mine at the first attempt (very easy just follow the online instruction).
I did own a 3510i and found it a good phone. I never had a problem in the 12 months I had it.Mr. Corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news immediately0 -
