yes they do but we can't access the thread tools once a thread is moved to a board that is not ours,

Trafs idea is a good one if the thread is just 1 post but if it is a longer thread then the redirect may be useful for people coming back to it

I would be inclined to leave a redirect anyone as it isn't added to it soon drops down anyway out of sight, so it doesn't bother the popular topics /threads of the time.

    yes traf

except for in the cases payless originally queried where you are moving a thread as it has a referral link in it.
In that case the redirect shouldn't stay in the original board.

    Yes i understand Glad.
  • Not being a guide or anything else I have a comment which may or may not be moved.
Since Martins request for guides, I have noticed a big increase in the number of threads being moved. I notice that some are very borderline as to whether it was necessary or not but for "ordinary" users it is a bit disconcerting when you are following threads on a daily basis to find they've been moved from the original position and nothing left there to show if there are any new posts on the thread. Perhaps some thought could be given to only moving threads if a complaint is made about it being in the wrong place.
