I have corrected it for you.
Yes - a nice little earner. And American companies like Ford and IBM were doing 'nice little earners' with the Nazis in Germany. Infact, IBM made a very nice 'little earner' from supplying the Nazis with data processing technology to make the Holocaust go smoother and more efficiently: http://www.ibmandtheholocaust.com/
No wonder the Americans didn't want to go to war until they were attacked - they were making a mint from both sides!!0 -
Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?? I'd rather people focused on the future personally....
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
We should really stop licking their bum. We should be european and proud and defend our values. I like most Americans I have met and have no problem with them . But they are not a democracy in any true sense and really. David Cameron seems to have little spine. It so horrible to see a man who is suppose to be a leader bow down like some slave0

America is not a democracy - it's a republican plutocracy. Meaning that it is a nation ruled by an elite of wealthy and privileged individuals who are themselves influenced by large, powerful companies. Elections are there to got through the motions of democracy, but in reality there is little difference between the two main American political parties.0 -

there's learning from it (which i agree), and there's blowing it out of all proportion.....0 -
Polish builders/plumbers/electricians/carpenters/child minders/factory workers/any other workers taking over England is the future and the future is red and white ;o)))
Good... maybe our football team will be as good as the Germans when we have as many Poles in it as they do.
The problem then arises - where do we get our Turkish section from..?0 -

Cameron is a total !!!!!. He says he is now 'angry' at the slow progress of Turkey's entry into the EU. What an utter moron. Does he even give a toss that a large majority of people in Britain do not want a huge Muslim nation to join the EU? Cameron is a toff - and a tool.0

I strongly disagree, it's much better for us to have Turkey lean towards the west rather than the east for stability in the region.
Plus Turkey is a secular country anyway.0 -

I'm fairly sceptical about European "values". They seem to have been behaving themselves since WWII, I'm not sure thats long enough to establish a trend though.0
