Hi all

Only just noticed the thread has reopened, I was going to post this yesterday.

I was in my local T's yesterday and at the bottom of the price promise, after it says "If things don't add up........etc" was a sticker saying

"At Store Discretion".

I thought this might have happened at other stores but it's not been mentioned at all.

I did manage to get an R&R (only a small one though, less than £1.00) although the difference was offered at first.

I wouldn't worry about that sign too much it will carry no weight in the event you make a complaint to Advertising Standards having been refused.

I believe their has been some success at Hatfield recently ; )

However Watford, Potters Bar and Hemel Hempstead are quite on the ball right now - slim pickings at best. I think the console thing is finally being addressed by Tesco - maybe wait until the 22nd for the current posters to be out of date ?

Yes, and when I asked for the grand sum of 77p I was given a long stare before the money actually changed hands!

Yep its the same store.....phoned TS and they were VERY interested. told 'em about conflicting SELs and also the fact that they aren't always honouring their policy. The bloke then put me thru to someone ..... Consumer something-or-other......and he said that if Tesco don't honour their own policy every time then they can be reported and action WILL be taken as its a misleading enticement to its customers
