The R&R sounds a great service does this work in all tesco's and the express shops not just the big supermarkets ??
    Thanks In advance

  • Has anyone had any kuck in the Watford or Hemel Hempstead area stores for R+R's?

Well done on that one - my last r&r (yes it was an xbox) the cs manager called head office after I said I wanted the number for them and was going to call them then and there. She proceeded to try get hold of someone she knew by name for over 5 mins as she blatently knew them and wanted them to back her up - just beware of this one and insist on speaking to ho yourself. Luckily she couldn't get through to her pal and they said give refund.

Sounds if you have been v luck was this a recent purchase ? and what game and xbox deal went through wrong, thanks for any help :)

Can I ask how longer it takes CS and Mr Leahy to respond to complaints via email.
Is it worth me posting recorded delivery or will the email suffice?
And if they aren't going to give you a negative answer do they acknowledge the complaint anyway.

I am off up to Durham at the w/e visiting family,so i might get chance to have a quick visit to MR Ts,does anyone know what the CS are like locally, can they be awkward or are they quite reasonable?.

Hi...I was in Durham store around the 22nd of last month (passing through)....Went in around midnight.....had a couple of smallish RnR's, without any problem from CS staff......very friendly in fact. Was also in the next day on way back south (during busy period), and although different staff....were equally as friendly.....I wish the CS staff way down in my area were so consistent

    Will call again.......on travels

I have never had to complain to Tesco so I have no idea BUT experience in complaining to other companies tells me you are taken far more seriously with a recorded delivery letter than an email. I think it shows you mean business when you go to the trouble of taking it to the PO and paying for it to be delivered!

I hope I get the same result. I'm still waiting for a reply to my emails regarding the same scenario, except I still have the mobiles.

me too! did you ring HO as well? how many emails have you sent? have you sent any snail mail letters? and how long have we got from date of purchase before we have to give up and just take phone back for a refund?
    Thanks! CJ

I've sent two emails and spoken to CS with out any joy so far. I believe we have 28 days to return the mobiles so I'm not giving up just yet.
I can't believe CS have allowed R&R's to some people and not others. The stores are bad enough but at least they are separate so to speak. CS is an open office I think!

Went into my local store today, I saw the new PS2 game Star Wars Lego II with a £27.97 SEL and it went through at £29.97. I went to CS who said they would just check. I went to the shelf with her in case of any 'mishaps'. She took the ticket, and gave me a refund automatically without me asking and apologised about the mistake. The first time I've found Tesco's staff being as nice to me giving me money as when they take it from me. It was exactly as it should be done so many thanks the CS lady and the OP of course!
