Hi all you quitters - well done!
I'm new to this and need advice on lozenge & gum that dont burn mouth & throat. Tried a certain brand before - foul! I think they were mint flavour though they reminded me of something else...
Maybe the fruity things are easier to swallow, suck or chew on?0 -
I think I'm going to stop properly for new year. I'm struggling to get my head back into it all. I've cut right back though which is at least going in the right direction, I think xQuit smoking 18/08/070

First of all well done for giving up to everyone, I've attempted this so many times I've lost count, sometimes with patches and once when going into hospital two years ago just on willpower alone, I lasted 10 days, didn't miss it until friends came round to visit.
Went to my GP on Tuesday and as he doesn't believe in the patches wanted me to cut down first before he would precribe, now I can understand his logic, with me it is psychological but I thought the first few days were the worst and that's when I'd need the patches, if I can cut down to 10 a day on my own I can probably do the rest. Going to see practice nurse on Tuesday so will ask her, quit day is Wed, after 30 yrs I must do it.Paid off so far Natwest overdraft £1900 Kays catalogue £200 Personal Loan £2500 Tax Credit £1300 J D Williams
Still to go Barclaycard £880 Sainsburys CC £38.80 Littlewoods CC £208 Vanquis CC £390 Littlewoods Cat £821.38 Next £75.260 -
