Well here we are again early on a Sat morning ready for another busy but wonderful day.

Will have a bit longer watching the rugby with another cuppa then get ready and take the dog for a walk then do the ironing then get ready for a birthday day out with mum (mine! not today though) then come home, whizz round with the hoover, clean the bathroom and get walking stuff ready for tomorrow

I'm going to miss some of the Eng V Scot match but hey, nevermind. It's better to have a fun filled weekend!

Happy to report I have lost another half an inch!

Yeah! Since May I have lost 12 inches and 12 pounds!

Well worth all of those salads and runs. 5lb more to go and maybe a couple of inches more then I'm there!

What a day out today - a great 7hr hill walk burning off 7000kcal in total - just about to injest another 2000 to recover meaning its about 3000 in total for today leaving a balance of 4000 burnt off

    Whoopidoo! Result there!

    Nice things too
    1. Fitness levels are so much better than they were on my summer holiday this year
    2. My walking clothes and especially trousers fit looser and so much better than they did in the summer holiday

I can't quite believe the difference over the last 3 mths. Just goes to show its worth sticking to the plan and keep going even when I felt disheartened and not like I was getting anywhere at all.

Yipee! Clothes fit and there is space in them as I am a healthy looking size 12 instead of a squashed in size 14

Should be a good week ahead with the runs again starting on Tues.

Off to snaffle some tea now

Keep up the good work. I'm glad I'm following your journey as it is motivating me. I have just done the snowball calculator and it is not good.

Well today was the b-day and half the office thought I was weird because I didn't take the day off and the other half thought nothing of it, like me. I decided not to waste a day off when it was a monday and I can use a day to put towards a holiday later on when I want some time off

Feel ok apart from very tired after yesterday and have eaten quite a bit today to feel better including a piece of someone else's cake they brought in which perked me up first thing this morning in the office!.

Right then, 1 glass of red wine imbibed, off for a cuppa with a chunky kit kat and a read of my new birthday book and an early night

Managed a NSD after all today which was a surprise! Off the mark at last - yipee!

  • Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

Your birthday is only a week before mine.

I shall be working on my birthday this year. I usually take the week off, but left it too late to book it and the day had gone.

    Congratulations on your NSD.

Slobbing around tonight with another early tea and decided against going for a run (regretting a bit of that decision now) as I am tired, so tired and more tired. Will do an exercise DVD instead tomorrow and then get around to a run at some point this week

In fact I will get up and do one of the DVD routines in the morning and then its done for the day then no need to feel guilty then about no exercise time

Did get up and do the DVD this morning finished by 6am on the dot - don't reckon I'll get to 6 week abs though by mid November. Let me see how far I get during this time as I combine running and conditioning for a change.

    Off now and back tomoz
