  • That chutney making took 6hrs today - I am never making apple chutney again!

Finally got it to the point where it could be potted up but boy was it a long time. Anyway it made over 2 Litres and 1.5L is off to its new home soon.

As it took so long didn't make it out for a run so will be going tomorrow instead.

Cottage pie made 3 portions in one dish with another 2 lots in the freezer so thats 9 meals out of 400g lentils and 500g meat - not bad! Also used up the free turnips which made a lovely mash with creme fraiche, parsnip and horseradish. Nice to enjoy something out of vegetables I don't normally like very much.

Meal planned to Wed so far on the diet plan all within kcal allowance
Work lunches sorted for next week and ready to go
4 day week this week and long weekend. A busy days AL though on Fri and an expensive car service too. Should get a lot of walking in though on this day so good exercise should be gained

  • A NSD again today taking me to 11/18

Ran the last interval on the 6mile runs tonight and for the next 5 weeks I will be concentrating on improving my speed and strength on some shorter runs (go me eh!) and then back up to 60 min runs or 6 miles hopefully feeling stronger and fitter than I do now!

Stuck to calorie allowance today - yeah!

  • Well done on 4 NSDs in a row, but did you stick to the calories today. I have called off the merry band wagon completely. If I could just not eat so much I would have the body of a super model with the exercise and walking I do :o
    Just keep swimming!
  • I have stuck to the calorie allowance today with no problems at all. It's getting pretty normal these days after trying this since May.

Just back from a run, 45mins tonight on the new running plan. Hard work keeping to the pace but its the first run on this and it should get better as time goes on.

Not a NSD today, had to fill up with liquid gold this morning and collected the dogs flea stuff from the vets too. Have collected some money for a car wash tomorrow so that should be a NSD too

  • Wasn't a NSD yesterday as I decided to go shopping as will be busy this weekend.

Today is car service day and dog final groom of the year before winter so an expensive day.

What else I will be zooming around today once I finish this cup of tea - also hoping to catch up on the housework, washing and ironing alongside lots of walking to collect the dog and car and different times today

Have stuck to the kcal allowance for most of the week which I'm pleased about and hoping for some more weight loss next week on weigh day. Might take some measurements later on as its a while since I did this and update my plan

Looking forward to enjoying the sun!

  • Well I have zoomed about with 3hrs walking to drop off Mr dog and collect him nice and neatly groomed. Also then a long walk to collect the car which passed its service ok.

Pretty tired now as a result

Kitchen table is covered in things that need putting away, floors need sweeping and mopping and the house needs a clean.

What shall I start with? Kitchen table or floors? Hmm how exciting!

    Still to do
    Clean all rooms and floors
    Sweep up outside
    Change over washing outside
    HHI
    Take dog for another walk
    Tidy up table
    Sort out paperwork
    Parcel up returns
    Change bedding
    Wash bedding
    Compost and recycle

Phew better make a start then!

  • Hi fedupandskint

I started following your diary earlier this week. What a busy time you seem to be having. I must say you seem to be doing very well and appear to be very organised.

You must be tired after all your walking today, especially in the heat.

Trying to read your signature but there are some abbreviations I haven't come across before.

I will continue to follow your diary and will add a note occasionally, due to work commitments and finding the time.

    All the best! :)
