Very busy day today with a 4 hour gardening session chopping and sawing a tree or 2 down, then lots of tidying up and sweeping up alongside plant tying up!

Also made the mint syrup, reboiled the rhubarb relish and finished off the kitchen clean along with the ironing.

Just relaxing now with a couple of glasses of wine leftover from yesterday before finishing off the watering and feeding of the plants. Managed a NSD at last this weekend (1/3 instead of 3/3) and will be aiming for another 3 this week at least starting tomorrow

Hi there - I saw your posts on Lula's thread, and I've subscribed now, I hope you don't mind - fascinated by the stuff you're making, the relish and the syrup. I can't quite imagine what mint syrup is - but I *really* like the sound of it!

Karma - of course I dont't mind at all!

Oh dear have lost my uni memory stick with my dissertation proposal on - grrrr! Unusual to lose this and I'll be turning the place upside down to find it!

Laptop playing up bigstyle again another grrrr!

What else to report - went for a 45min run last night which half went well and half went very hard work after 2 weeks off. Tomorrow's plan is to go for a shorter run and then a longer one later this week

Study funding has gone through again for next year which is a big relief and its almost time to go back in a couple of months which means a big study session coming up over the next 4 weeks to make a head start for a change. This time next year it will be almost completed and the dissertation will have taken a year - boo!

NSD today making it 11 now - off to see if the lappy is playing nicely now for a change

    Morning Jue! It's Mr Homebase

Just back from a 60min run before it got way too hot and stuffy out there - went really well. Just having a little rest now.....!

Today is garden clearance, bit of cleaning to finish off, walk up for some more heavily reduced solar lights for the garden as they look great. Quite a nice day really all while listening to the eternally and unintentionally funny companionship of TMS at Trent Bridge

You'd done a 60 minute run and got back online by 9.20????? Okay, I'm scared now :) thats way too efficient for me :rotfl: tho this is the last day of my holidays so I'm allowed to be lazy first thing on Sunday morning - can't be much longer tho, since I work from home I have to get the place liveable....

Have a good relaxing day - the garden sounds like its going well.

Phew car insurance sorted just in time - gone up quite a bit but managed to get it down to as low as I could and the company honoured the quote to do this.

Ice cream time then off to the garden I go!
