Preserving all done - asparagus in oil 3 jars, looks very pretty and beetroot relish 5 jars, yummy as it was from last years. Will make another batch in a month or 2's time

Made a preserving stocks list of a few things get in ready to go - as have loads of chutney left over and marmalade will have a go at some jam this year and some things I didn't make last year and reign in the chutney making

Washing all done and attempting to dry on the line on this not too great drying day.

Next is to finish off the cleaning then a quick ironing session

tidied up a lot of the garden, planted out all perennials for this year and next.

Dug up a conifer out of the way of a tree which is coming down over the next 2mths when the area is cleared, chopped down some more of the bush in the way and the garden bin is full to the top. Some more to put in after it is emptied and then can clear some more of that part of the garden.

Only a couple of lettuces left to plant out but rain stopped play here after a big sweep up session.

Laptop playing up bigstyle for some reason so another restore session going on

That's all from me for now on - a NSD today which is ace, just a sm amount of ironing left to do then sort some tea out and paint my nails for the week ahead!

Got tons done today which was great and the day did not race past as per usual which was also good too. Think I'll update my list of things to do above

2011 To-do list and it will get done!
Get some wire netting for draincover
    remove garden shed
    Move TD into cellar
    measure up for greenhouse etc
buy paint for kitchen and door

Tidy up the garden - ongoing - but making some good progress

Things I really want to do in 2011 other than flying list
    1. Visit local attractions
    2. Decorate aiming for 1 room hoping for more
    3. Clear out cellar and put in spare freezer, shelves for preserves, move TD in there and store household items and stockpiling
    4. Take down rotten shed
    5. Get a greenhouse
    6. Increase running mileage to half marathon level (6mths 0 to 6miles June 10 - Dec 10 now Jan 11 - June '11 6 miles to 12 miles aiming for 1yr progress level)

What a busy evening yesterday was. Ran 6miles on an interval training run and although it was hard going I'm pleased I did it as its 5mths since I last ran this far. Felt like I was running on empty a bit - hence why it was hard work at times. Still onwards and upwards I go. Aiming to run it with no intervals which is the next goal. Then had to dash to Mr S for some tea (was very late to eat) and some more salad stuff for work.

Not my usual well organised and planned self there eating just before 9pm. Then didn't have a great night's sleep but still at least I feel ok after that run and legs are ok too

A more chilled out evening planned tonight - nice dog walk, nice tea and a yoga session as this has taken a back seat over the last couple of weeks and catch up with a bit of flying and HHI.

Also aiming for a NSD too.

Let's see how I get on!

Nice dog walk, nice tea (bye bye diet for tonight) and a chilled out evening - not flying and no yoga. A NSD though which is good. Think I'm on 5 now

NSD yesterday alongside feeling a bit rotten. Another early night and not feeling great today - cold virus thing and think I'll take today off to get over it. Should have realised on the way home yesterday when I thought 'no chance am I going out for a run, I'm so tired' then did hardly anything at all when I got in

Time to go back to bed for a bit

Felt a bit better this afternoon and started to clean the LR to get it done - now feel dreadful. Not really in my DNA anymore to not do anything. Good job tea was leftovers I could chuck in the microwave to heat up and then its off to bed when it goes down for a very early night and hope to feel better tomorrow
