Have eaten the last toffee crisp in the house - diet restarts again tomorrow alongside exercise again too - had to get rid of it of course to stop the temptation over the next week. Just checked back in my diary and I weighed 9lbs less this time last year before I started exercising again this time last year. So will determidly stick to the diet this week and also pick the exercise baton up again after a week off. mind you did a lot of walking on holiday, just no running or yoga leaving me feeling a little like I haven't done much for over a week.

Meal planned away and calories counted for the week so lets see if I can stick to the plan for the next 7 days. Have meal planned nearly everything up in the freezer apart from a couple of mystery parcels frozen solid.

Shopping list written for this week

    Yoga starts in 30mins time

Dreadful diet day today with 2 bags of liquorice torpedoes eaten and no exercise at all - whoops - must try harder

    June GC total £183/£200

July budget £150 - already spent approx £100 out of that today on lots of food to freeze - fish and meat - should keep me going for the next month or so - plus other stuff

Not shopping at the weekend - unless need some more fruit/veg and feels nice to be able to avoid the supermarket at the weekend for a change!

Ohhhhh I love liquorice torpedoes :D & toffee crisps :D:D

I'm not having any sweets though * buffs up halo*

Sounds as though you've jumped straight back in to your whirlwind of activity.

Just remember to keep your protein & good carbs high if exercising a lot. If you're craving sweet things then your body must require it. I heartily recommend onken fat free yogurts - they are sweet but better for you than a toffee crisp :p

I'm doing walking & I like it a lot. I go at a fair old pace - have never been a meanderer really, all those years of not having a car got me in the habit of walking with purpose & taught my girls to trot to keep up :rotfl:

Another bag of torpedoes eaten tonight - they are all gone now and no more to be bought until I have lost some weight - you could have had the last bag of liquorice torpedoes if I'd have seen this before I ate them!

No exercise so far this week but I think I'll get up early and go first thing in the morning before work to catch up a bit on the calorie burning

    What else?

Worked out all the food I bought yesterday into portion sizes and costs and comes in at great costs for large pieces

Cod Loin £8 for 6 portions at £1.33 per portion
Salmon Fillet £13 = 8 portions at £1.62 per portion for big pieces
Mackerel Fillets £2 for 2 fish into 4 fillets 50p per portion
Whole seabass £3 for 1 portion
Braising Steak £2.69 into approx 3 portions at 89p per portion
Diced Lamb £4.14 into approx 3 portions at £1.38 per portion
Chicken drumsticks £1.49 for 2 drumsticks and 3 thighs at 75p per portion
Chicken Breasts £2.59 for 2 at £1.29 per portion
Chicken Thighs £3.04 for 4 at £1.01 per portion
Big piece of aged rib eye steak for £4.34 for one portion (a splurge!)
Half leg of lamb £5.49 for 5 portions at £1.12 per portion (another splurge!)

Meat = Cost £23.78 for 19 meal portions
Fish = Cost £26 for 19 meal portions

Total cost is £49.78 for 38 meals which isn't too bad plus everything else I have in the freezer and will keep me going for a long time - estimating approx 2months of food in the house currently

Can't you tell I don't any studying to do at the moment if I worked this out!

Anyway nipped to get some reduced plants from hom*base after work and spent £8.54 on some great deals

    Pots of new potatoes - 75p x2
Sweet potato plants 99p for 4 (reduced from £7.99)
Large pot of geraniums 75p from £5.99
    2 massive foxgloves £2.50 from £5
kale plants (after mine wilted and died) 50p for 4
    2 x 3 pots of tomato plants 15p x 3 = 30p for 6

Pretty pleased with this and must really stop buying the reduced plants - no really must!

That's about it from me for tonight as I'm off to have a look at a running plan and then decide if some trainers on offer soon will suit my feet

Evening everyone - went for a run before work in the bright early morning sun which was great and will be going back out there tomorrow again then a day off for my feet to recover that still feel a bit hammered from the holiday

Pictures arrived for the kitchen wall which will be going up at the weekend after I find some suitable frames. Should look nice as they are of the mountain I went up last year and everyone always comments on how good one of them looks on my computer wall paper

Not much else to report as I watch the tennis from today and lounge about before some yoga

    Woo its the weekend!

Went for a run after work in the blazing sun and ran for 40mins which is the longest I've run since all the problems with my muscles started. Will be doing some yoga in a while to stretch off a stiff muscle

Pleased I went as it would have been easy to talk myself out of it and I enjoyed it even though it was pretty hard work.

Think I need some new trainers over the next month or so as they are starting to feel a bit hammered now.

Busy weekend as usual, off to visit mum alongside all the usual jobs at home and some more running on Sunday

    Back tomorrow

Niggly leg muscle again today after yesterday's run so lots of stretching shortly to ease it off before tomorrow's run

Nice day with mum, a pootle around some shops and a new pair of running leggings and top from the bargainous sports shop and also a new sports bra in black as the other one was so great yesterday, then a look for some reduced plants (yes more!) and got a couple of good perennials to plant tomorrow. Then back to watch the women's final.

Tomorrow have quite a bit of cleaning to do, fit a run in, lots of gardening, watch the final etc etc. Lets see what gives first!

Will be cleaning & Wombling here too & hopefully a bike ride for exercise :)
