A rather fantastic weekend of exercise taking advantage of the fine weather.

Today was 2 x 60 min walks with the dog then 2 x 30 min bike rides

Very pleased and really enjoyed riding the bike. Looks like rain will stop play for a couple of days. Will see if it dries up enough to go out again this week otherwise its the weekend. Plus will try and fit a run in this week too.

Back to super boring work tomorrow. Oh for a 4 day weekend every week!

Work today - none of us really felt that perky after the long weekend and had fuzzy heads from days off.

I managed to drag myself out for a run after work as the shower stopped and as the weather forecast is heavy rain I told myself to go out. Did a 6 miles run which I found very hard going indeed which was due to a lack of strength and stamina and one of those days where they desert and go some where else. Also can feel a very tight right leg muscle while running which also didn't help at all.

So its on with some more stretching to get back to normal and a wish the runs get better next time

Not very happy - no hot water

Boo! How will I wash my hair in the morning and have a shower before work and after a run. Well I won't be as no hot water at all. Looks like its a scruffy wash for a couple of days which I'm not looking forward to at all. Appt to mend it on Sat dependent upon whatever time they show up.

Rubbish rubbish rubbish. What on earth is going on as lots of things have gone wrong over the last few weeks/months. Hope this passes by and things start to improve soon

Very tight leg muscles again - yoga this morning for 10mins to try and release them, then some tennis ball massage tonight which has done the trick, not a one off though and will need to repeat this again and again and is very painful! If it does the trick though I'll be happy to avoid physio again!

Feeling very fed up about the lack of hot water. Really want it to get sorted out tomorrow and repaired and back to normal asap.

Wishing all the good luck vibes in the universe to arrive and deposit the luck here to dreams coming true

Well have been up and about on this grey autumnal day - when will the sun arrive again?

So have had hopefull the final cold shower and the hot water is repaired today earlier than the deadline of 8pm.

Today is clearing up and cleaning and ironing then this afternoon is assignment work while waiting in the the repair.

Then its onto a nice hot bath for a lot of pampering once its mended!

Weigh in STS this week - thought might have lost a bit but never mind at least it wasn't a gain. Measurements are a bit bizarre - another inch gone from chest (weird!) and half an inch from waist at long last after quite a while STS. So results are now 5 inches lost from waist and 6 inches from chest. I had no idea there were so many inches to lose when I started last year and that's not the first time I 've thought that along the way. Almost there now, just a few more lbs to go and a couple more inches (preferably from my waist!) always from the place you really want them to go they go last. Like a final bonus along the way to keep going!

Anyway its time to make a start. Will be back later to report on my progree for the day

Hot water all mended and back to normal. How I missed it? Oh yes a great deal, had a nice long bath and also a big smile when I ran the water to wash the pots. Did make me think how those must feel who have to ration it, limit it and be without it and its a luxury thats well needed here.

Did the stretching exercises this afternoon which seem to have made quite a difference and I'll do them again and do them 2x a day until I feel the strain less in my muscles

Just copied my post from another thread to remind me

Xpress yourself - for me I made the decision this year to wear colour and embrace it and move away from black clothes. So now after all the weight loss, and yes I do look different to this time last year - according to Wallis website my original measurements came out at a size 16 and now at a size 8 or 10 give or take an inch - I have had to buy practically a new wardrobe full of clothes as so many do not fit at all any longer. Plenty of colour in there to xpress myself!

Now then onto an Xtra - what else can be an xtra for me - currently enjoying a minimum of an hour a day walking Mr Dog and usually 2hrs at the weekend, utilising the local parks and nature reserves. Ah yes, the xtra for me then is to fit in a bike ride twice a week alongside 2 runs and the daily dog walks.

Xcitement - I've been thinking this over quite a lot, next year I'm hoping to have a holiday far away. That is my excitement!

Thinking about plans for tomorrow. Think I'll take the bike out for a nice ride, do the usual chores for Sunday - ironing, cleaning to finish off and the dreaded reading for the assignment which I'll see if I can make myself do instead of putting off as I am at present

Thats better - 20mins on the stepper with weights, 10mins of yoga for stretches and then the stretching routine. Muscles feeling better than on Friday. Must stick at the stretching routine as this has eased out the compactness quite a lot and hopefully saved me from revisiting the physio.

Cardies ordered for store collection. Will see how they look and onlt keep if totally happy with them.

Tonight's plan is to do the 20mins stepper 10 mins yoga and the the stretching routine again.

Dress and top arrived ordered on Friday. Now this is bizarre beyond belief.. The dress is too big in a size 10. There is no way I would have ordered an 8 and expected it to fit. That stepper routine is certainly pulling my waist in after 2mths of it. So the dress is going back after I decided the peter pan collar wasn't really for me with a bow and I'm still deciding about the top. Think it might be a bit pale in colour (peach) oppposed to the coral I prefer.

Anyway, I'll have a think about them and see how to get them back with the minimum of fuss for a refund

Right off to do some work then crack on with the exercise in an hour or so

Decisions made - top and dress going back on Sat for a refund at store

Nice surprise today with a 2lb loss taking me almost to target weight again after the gain when I was poorly last month or so.

Stepper routine done today and planning again for tomorrow and also upping the weights to 1.5kg from tomorrow as now used to the 1kg ones.

Not much else to report - have done a bit of reading and planning for the assignment today and a tonne left to go hence not running or cycling as need some time really. When its due in I'll get back on track with those again
