A very enjoyable day today, lots of listening to the highly enjoyable TMS today. I enjoy that a great deal, like listening to the friendliest conversation in the world and a little corner of life not heard a great deal anymore. Finished the cleaning, tidied some of the garden up, ready for the recycling collection. Lovely walk around the nature reserve with Mr Dog in the heat and he is now absolutely cream crackered in his basket exhausted after walking around for an hour with his extrememly warm coat on.

Did 20mins on the stepper too to burn off some of the kcals consumed today. Planning to get up for a run first thing tomorrow - then will burn off some more and break even!

Ran first thing this morning before it got even wamer than it is now. Quite disappointed really took an hour to run 60mins and I could really feel the lack of strength in my legs after the break of 4 weeks. Still, I consoled myself with the thought of regaining that energy and strength over the next 2 weeks through consistency of 3 or 4 regular runs per week.

Bit of a loose end now, think I might head into the garden for a little while with TMS for company as I really can't be bothered to read for my assignment with weather like this!

Right, just spent an hour meal planning for the week ahead to get somewhere close to the kcal allowance and also get the 5-a-day in

So this week it is a lot of cottage cheese, salad and ryvitas with fruit and fromage frais for lunches usual fruit for snacks and also eat a couple of fat heavy yogs up after dinner.

Tea is left over chicken drumsticks, new potatoes and salad from today, then onto a spinach, mushroom, brocoli and potato pie with veg fora few days and then onto dhal and spiced cabbage on Friday and Saturday with a mini naan bread.

That's the target at this stage! Let me see if those pounds start to come off a little.....

Lunch time and then into the garden and then long walk with the tired dog who is doing his best to pretend he's asleep and doesn't want to go!

A very pleasant pottering day tidying the garden up quite a bit and filled the recycling bin ready for collection this week.

Ironing done, all washing done and dried on the line. Tea eaten which was very delish indeed and have leftovers for tomorrow. Lovely walk again around the nature reserve wetlands in the sun and heat with a welcome breeze.

What else, not much really. Work stuff ready to go, just need to find my sandals out

Legs aching a bit from this morning's run - haven't decided if I'm going tomorrow. If its boiling I think I'll leave it until Tues. Will see how I feel tomorrow.

Boring boiling day at work today and one of those days when the whole office felt the heat kick in and nearly knock us all over being can't be bothered.

Quite a bit of sunburn in the office too from not being careful.

Nice long walk in the sun after work with a very hot dog indeed who I think is looking forward to his haircut at the end of the week.

I'm just ordering some handweights to go with the stepper to improve my toning routines - whoopee, never thought I'd go for that but after 2mths of using the cords its time to up the game and results somewhat.

Was pleased with myself today as only spent £5 in Mr T's on much needed salad and resisted the not that great bargains on offer and stayed out of the other shops

Well its time for the stepper in a little while then some TV watching while I don't lift the papers to read for my assignment. One of those nights where I can't be bothered, better pick up again soon though as the deadline approaches rapdily once more

Was planning to go out for a run after work today and that plan went to pieces as left work late and got back later and tea was going to take an hour to cook.

So took the dog out for the shorter walk today which I think he was quite pleased about really as he saw his doggy best friend while out and made a decision to go out first thing in the morning before work.

Am just about to get everything ready to go to cut down in the made rush and make time to go.

Went for a run first thing this morning which I found very hard work indeed. Anyway at least I went and did it and planning to go again on Friday. Hoping some strength returns soon and it gets back to normal again too.

Hey ho, one more day to go at work thankfully then its a long weekend and BH too

I'm struggling to keep on track with the diet again - finding it very difficult to stick to 1200kcals daily. How come I could do it before and run and not now.

Will have to rethink what I take to work I think, and, continue to stick to it like I do

must be feeling a little fed up tonight for some reason, Think I'll have an early night and see if I can get up for a run again in the morning

Well a nice surprise today on weigh in day and discovered Iost 1kg despite all the doubts I had all week and the despondency I felt.

So it is with a renewed sence of purpose and slightly aching legs that I consider getting up early for a run in the morning as I did not today feeling like my legs needed a day off inbetween runs as I get used to running again.

Called in at the supermarket after work to discover a lot of the shelves were bare. Got most things despite this and only need to pick up a couple of things over the weekend.

Tomorrow is a day off, oh yes, I now have 5 days off, yipee!

I will be getting my hair trimmed and a little potter around town then taking Mr Dog out for a nice long walk in the afternoon. Will also be catching up on the housework and washing meaning I'll have some time to do some much needed work on the assignment too

Got up and went for a run first thing this morning and it went better than the other runs this week. Meaning to me that I hope I've turned the corner now and can move on to the point and beyond where I was before with this

Both me and the dog have had our summer haircuts! He is very short and looking tiny without his big coat.

I have a slightly shorter than usual and slightly more geometric style which I like. Next fabulous task is dying my hair over the weekend to finish everything off.

Didn't have time to potter around the shops in the end as this morning was a bit of a mad dash. Back home now and lunch eaten and just have a little lounge around before taking the newly shorn Mr Dog out for a nice long walk then I really will do a bit of cleaning to free up the rest of the weekend
