    Assignment update:

    Finished 2
Last one have around 500 words left to do and 2 sections plus referencing.

Having a long break now to take the dog out on a nice long walk so we both get some decent exercise in the bright air outside before the rain arrives again tomorrow.

Then its back to read for an hour then write up and ref. Break for tea and the same again afterwards

In other news: its another NSD again today making it 4?

Hmm , not as much progress made as I hoped. Went out for a nice long walk in the bright sunshine then decided to do 20mins on the stepper to see how I got on. Went ok which was good.

Read after tea but back to the drawing board again as I grapple with analysis. Thats it for today and I 'll take a book to bed to have a quick flick through a chapter. Then its the countdown to the deadline tomorrow. Better get up early tomorrow if I don't want to spend all day on this!

A lovely morning here today with a bright blue sky and sun. Let's see if it lasts!

Well I'm up and ready to go, taken Mr Annoying Dog on his longer walk, mopped the floors then I'm ready to make a start on the tortuous crawl towards the finishing line by 4pm.

Then I'm having some me time that involves some pampering and a nice treaty tea, plus 20mins again on the stepper and the usual dog walk no doubt dodging the rain showers by then.

Better make a start then and get the evaluation done then its head down and get on with it.

I did it! They're all finished and submitted - phew!

Time to tidy the place up a bit and have a couple of days off studying. I need a rest!

Have tidied up and hoovered the living room which now looks nice and restful again instead of being strewn with papers and books and chaos.

Paid Mr E's g+e bill and am now in the routine of weekly meter readings to not get caught out by a massive bill as did after winter this year

Also very pleased with myself for just fitting a hot water cylinder insulation jacket. It's a job I've been on about doing for ages and when I saw on for the bargainous £2.99 I thought I'd better get it and get it done.

So the tank is now wrapped up cosily to keep my water warmer for longer. Hmm lets see if it works - hope so. The same thing on Mr E's website cost £14.50!

Next job I've put off for ages is insulating the cellar roof to stop the cold leaking through into the LR. I saw some stuff I could use in wickes and will be giving this a go over the next month and then that'll be another job done! Just need to borrow a stapler to do it

Right then , time for some fresh air then its onto pamper time for me! And a big chocolate eclair!

Back to work today and didn't feel quite as well as I had over the weekend leaving me thinking I'm not quite back to normal. Thought against going for a run due to this and took the dog for a nice long walk instead.

Taking a couple of hours off tomorrow afternoon to try and recover for the half marathon in time and have little rest.

Feel a bit down in the dumps today so off for an early night

Had a good chat today about the run today at work and this motivated me to do it and say stuff it to the virus!

Also found out my proper mark for the resubmission - got 62. Am I kicking myself or what now. That would have taken me way up to a merit and above. Instead stuck with a 50 min pass. Oh well, too late now to worry about it as its done. just goes to show I did understand it in the end. Anyway, decided to email about my dissertation topic to try and change it to something more manageable - hoping to get this sorted after doing a little draft last night with some ideas.

Anyway its the final 2 days at uni tomorrow and Friday so will enjoy them greatly and say goodbye to everyone.

Time to try and dodge the showers now to take the dog out and get some fresh air. Felt quite rough this morning but a bit better this afternoon so hopefully well and truly on the mend now and I'm sure I'll feel better the next 2 days as I'm not at work!

At uni today. Felt completely wiped out this afternoon and absolutely knackered. Left a bit early as a result and trudged home and still felt shattered. This doesn't bode well for the half marathon at all. Will reasses this at the weekend.

Have spent a few days rewriting my dissertation proposal and hoping to have another go with this one. Have come up with some ideas and have emailed my tutor to see if we can talk them over and hopefully get somewhere with them.

Tomorrow is final taught day and time to pick up some more books to lugg around all day.

Not much else to report apart from off for an early night. How exciting!

Have decided not to run the half marathon. Felt pretty rubbish today for most of the day and thought to myself, if I wasn't planning to run this half would I run today. When I told myself no because I felt unwell still it made my mind up for good.

Its more important to get over this virus first as I have a lot of hard uni work coming up and although it would have been great to run it, the most important thing was to run and keep running and enjoy it and the distance,. Which I did. Most important thing done then, plus it gave me the confidence to believe in myself I can do this, which I did.

So never mind, and yes, I am disappointed but that's life sometimes and its better to get over this for good than make it worse for me and write another assignment made up with cold, virus and whatever else.

It will be a quiet weekend and one I'm quite looking forward to!

Walked up to town and collected the clothes order. Trousers went straight back as they were the wrong fit and length and pull on. Think I'll wait and get some proper tailored pairs later on

Long summer skirt is lovely and so much nicer than I expected. It looks really nice on and is super comfy too - a keeper at £17 from £29.50.

Blue sheer patterned top is lovely too and looks nice and is comfy too also a keeper at £15 from £29.50.

Mini skirt is ust that - plain black jersey - will be brave and keep it - my last one more than likely so will aim to wear it later in the year with legs safely covered up! Good price though at £9 reduced from £15.

Also bought a summer day dress which is patterned jersey in a tea dress style., Fits really well and will look good with flats and wedges and will be a good one to wear at the weekend, shopping, holiday etc.

Just need to not put any weight back on now!

Think I need a white top now to pull a couple of outfits together then I'm done

Off out in the garden in a bit to tidy up for a couple of hours and then a nice long walk with the dog round the nature reserve
