Ok, thanx for the smart reply apples but Im aware of how to contact them through the post, I HAVE READ THIS FORUM and more so if you actually read back yourself it says people have received a refund form via email after numerous emails sent,

So why haven't you got your refund then donut??

In fact, what was the point of your post at all if you already know the answers?

We could have not bothered helping you at all, we aren't the ones who have dished out our bank account details to any old chancer on the phone only to bleat and whinge afterwards.
  • HA HA ..You 4rse.

Firstly I didnt come to get a F***G lowdown on what I ''Shudda, Cudda, Wudda'' done. I havent got my refund yet because it only happened on thursday so ill give it till monday for someone to get in touch.

My post was for people on the same boat who might have a new contact for this cowboy company as they seem to be changing their number as often as ''YOU'' judging other peoples actions.

You still haven't answered why you are looking for their phone number when the companies own Terms and Conditions CLEARLY state it must be done in writing.

    Still, you obviously know best.

You should ring 0845 344 3436. They will have an answer to your problems.
  • I too have had money taken from my account by this company around a week ago now. I had never heard of them before and so sent them an email , of course no response. Since then I have had a call from a home shopping catalogue asking me to verify my details so that my order can be despatched and a letter from a mobile phone company informing me that they are unable to offer me the mobile phone contract for which I had applied for! All of which i had not applied for and had no idea about! I have since sent 6 emails requesting there cancellation procedures , to which i have received the same automated response (as seen elsewhere on this forum) telling me about the services they provide!
Thanks Apples2 for the address , hopefully a letter sent recorded delivery will finally get a response! That and the fact that the matter will now be being dealt with by the police as some little toe rag has been using my details!
  • Keep bombarding them with emails Jmarie, I did. I received the refund form via email this morning after receiving emails from Nicola, Gareth and the Infamous Tom.
  • Hi

I also was hit by this same very sneaky but legal scam. To be honest I cant believe this can happen in this day and age. Yes I entered my card details, I was told the amount of £47 would be deducted from my loan once I had been accepted by a loan company. This was not the case, I was not even contacted by a loan company through the loan centre and £47 was deducted from my bank without me knowing. I only found out because Orange sent me a letter to tell me my direct debits had been returned! So you guessed it, they screw over the most vonurable people, and that £47 was supposed to pay my phone bill. What a knock-on effect these peoples selfish actions have on other peoples lifes. When I contacted the bank they began to investigate it as fraud, however dropped the investigation soon after as they couldnt get through to the company either. I have emailed "The Loan Centre" and I have recieved numerous automated responces not helping me at all. I will never get my money back, and I doubt any of you will either. Its s**t!!! And to all the cynics commenting "you did put your details in...." I have two words for you. Shut up.:rotfl:

    LOL :j
You agree to pay a fee at inception which incorporates membership for one month.
It doesn't say "The fee will be deducted from your loan once you have been accepted by a loan company"

    Q. How can it both legal AND a scam??

We all know they simply take advantage of people so desperate for a loan they will simply believe any old rubbish spouted down the phone.

If I walked up to you in the street and asked you for £75 on the promise I will come back later with bundles of cash for you, would you give me the money?

It's exactly the same "scam" you have fallen for
  • My son phoned up to enquire about a loan. They didnt call themselves this name but this appeared on the bank account when they took money out without authorisation. They wanted his bank details BEFORE he could make enquiries. after asking me to be a guarantor before ia greed i looked up the company on the internet and said NO WAY. been on watchdog and everthing complete scammers. He declined the loan. he got abusive irritating texts from them for days all day, he had to change his number in the end. Anyway a month later he found they had taken £67.70 out of his bank account which made him over drawn and bank charges have been applied. Does anyone know how to get money back. there is no phone number on their website ?

I have had the same thing happen to me this morning, but after countless computer generated emails, (dont even bother trying to phone them) i threatened them with the department of fair trade, the police and the fraud department of natwest,( make sure you have reported the incident to your bank), i started to recieve correspondence from a lady called amy, after a few more reminders of the above threats, they emailed me a refund form.
They are still tryng to say that i wont get the refund for 30 days, so that is my next mission! but progress has been made!!:)
Do not let them get away with it
