Ha!! I love reading these great success stories, until I realise that if we'd have all done the same offer, we may not have signatures like mine (see below)!!
WELL DONE TTMCMschine!! Very pleased for you. Meerrrrry Christmas!0 -
yes! well done, man. even if I had your bottle to excercise your (well calculated) risk I probably wouldn't have gone ahead.
a pleasant (and affluent) xmas.

Thankyou
Just lucky they didn't go the other way I suppose.0 -
Borrowing to invest is called gearing and is very common with experienced investors. Indeed, many consumers do it without even realising it. How many of you have a mortgage but also have savings/investments?
Investments made in August are up quite a bit now as it was a good time to invest as there had been a correction a few months earlier. Going in after a correction is always a good time.
It certainly isnt something you would expect an individual with no investment experience to do and it shouldnt be encouraged for them. But experienced investors do it often.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. got to say.........well done and good luck. I`ve had some 0% cheques like that in the past and never bothered with them. May re-think now! Def wouldn`t do shares as i`ve never understood them so will prob go down the stoozing route. When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0

Character hadn't seen a correction. In fact they had increased by almost 30% shortly before I bought this lot, & I bought a substantial amount more at 75p - another 62,245 shares to be precise.0

Quick update:
CCT ended on £1.34 today, so my 15,100 shares are now worth £20,234 or double the initial £10,000 taken on the 0% offer - whoohoo!Happy Days
incidentally, RCG which I originally purchased at 60p each have hit £1.20 over the last week or so - so they would have doubled too!
I'm sticking with CCT (I hold quite a few shares now in total - roughly 80,000 shares including my £275 spreadbet calculated into equivalent shares & have now made over £40K profit from them this year) but also have a small investment in Sareum (SAR) - just £2K bought at 1.05p - & results are out in a couple of days. I expect this one to do well too, if anyone is interested in watching0 -
TTMCM - well done and good luck to you. Sorry if this is stating the obvious, but remember to sell before the price drops too much, shame to waste all that potential* profit...
* 'coz it's still only on paper until the moment you sell them !!......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
I'll sell them once they get past £2.25 - don't want to lose any of those potential profits0
