Update:
Well, good old Character today made yet another announcement regarding the results due to be released on the 28th (this is the 3rd announcement informing of better than expected results!).
Today they announced that results would be "significantly ahead of market expectations" which is stock market speak for pretty bl**dy good!
As a result the shares shot up again today to close at £1.01 & a half pence, giving me:
15,100 * £1.015 = £15,326.50 - a gain on my £10,000 0% loan from MBNA of £5,326.50 or 53.26% !!!
Once this hits the press & financial news it'll shoot up even more, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go up another 10p today (Tuesday).
Watch this space !0 -
Well,
the results are out for Character tomorrow & I expect to see a good 10p - 20p leap in the share price.
Be sure to watch this space

To be fair though, you must have been sweating for much of September and October, since they only 'leaped' in early November.0 -

Hello Yorkshireboy
I've not really been sweating much because I've researched this company to death & I hold quite a lot of shares in this company from a year ago - I paid 47.7p for those. I've never been in doubt about where they're going because I can see with my own 2 eyes just how well their toys are selling - the cyberman helmet is apparently impossible to get hold of, just like the dleks last year.
The share price didn't move after some excellent results, which was a little disappointing, but I suppose to be fair the news was already priced in after the leaps in Nov. I expect that they'll continue to rise steadily though over the next few weeks, & will leap again once they provide a trading statement in Jan 07.
My MBNA offer was until Jun 07, so I've plenty of time left yet0 -
Well,
they appear to be on the move again. Hit 116 this morning, but are now at 111.
That gives 15,100 * £1.11 = £16,761 or a 67.61% increase on the MBNA interest free loan.Happy Days

Morning all.
Well they've shot up some more today after apparently being Sharewatch magazines "tip of the year" for 2007!
They've been at £1-20 this morning but are currently at around 116, so at:
15100*116 = £17516 or a whopping 75% increase on my 0% APR loan from the good old MBNA.
:)Happy Days:) & I still think these will hit £1.50 by the end of Jan 2007.0 -
They're now £1.20 each, so:
15,100*£1.20 = £18,120 or an 81.2% profit so far

Good 4 you, I don't know why every1 got so angry at you, you were lucky to get a good deal with MBNA, you can't hate sum1 for having good luck!
I think you may have been a little cocky about it, but I reckon I'd be the same if I was in ur situation! But maybe other moneysavers have lost alot of money on shares & are still feeling it!
Good luck for the future, I am very welcome to all kinds of presents for xmas!!!:rolleyes:I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
Thx
I'll put you on the Christmas list!0
