You do sound much happier CMD, glad things look like they're starting to go your way! Well done for being so organised with your christmas shopping too! :)

Hope you're enjoying the decluttering, sometimes I think it'd be nice to move just to give us the opportunity to have a good clear out! ;)

Yep - I feel more in control and happier. Just wish I was feeling better physically! I was telling OH this morning that I feel like an old carthorse. Luckily my nap has put me in a much better mood :)

I love Christmas shopping Birdie. I wish I had the money to do it all now! I keep thinking that this time next year we will be in a much better financial position and I will be able to shop all year round and won't be worrying about moving country to store wrapping paper etc.

Will you buy any Xmas presents when you are on honeymoon, or just buy stuff for yourselves?

I'm going to try to be organised and buy some pressies when we're away, not too many though, want pressies for myself! :) We're quite lucky in that we don't have to spend too much at christmas, in my family we've introduced a £30 budget per person so that's only £120 for my side and we do secret santa on OH's side, so only another £30. Unfortunately I spend both family budgets and more on OH! It will be great for buying pressies for OH, if he leaves me alone for long enough! ;)

Myself and my OH always spent quite a bit on each other before Max came along. I think your dead right to spoil yourselves!

I'm trying to be more frugal this year with Christmas presents and I've been looking on the Special Occassions board, if you're any good in the kitchen Wendz have a look on the 'edible gifts' thread, loads of great ideas and people will love you for going to so much effort even if you haven't spent that much! ;)
