what did you use as promotional ID and is this offer avaiavle for people tha are not ING customers?

Didn't have a promotional ID just used the promotional code which is on ING website to use ING085.
I have never held an ING account of any sort before nor as my hubby and we both opened one of these accounts and deposited by debit card at the time of filling in application form, and have both got the £20 credited within a day or so of opening our accounts.

Make sure at the end of the application you make a note of your account number and customer ID so you can access you account the following day or so.
Also make a note of you pin number and memorable date which you enter on application from as these are needed to log into your account as well.

How have you all managed to check your accounts, im still waiting for my welcome pack with my customer number in it so that i can log onto my account.

Just rand ING, thinking OMG i have forgotten my customer number and they said i wouldnt have recieved it yet as i havent got a welcome pack yet.

I haven't had my welcome pack yet, and I didn't make a note of my customer ID (hubby did :o) but I phoned them up and told them I made a note of my account number but not customer ID (which I had), and after a few security questions and entering some of the numbers from the pin number and memorable date, they then told me over the phone what my customer ID was.

I received a confirmation e-mail that they are in the process of opening an account for me.

I tried to log on with the customer ID I have when I had saved my appliaction and it redirected me to a screent that ING is setting up my account and PIN.

I am really curious if I will get this 20 pound, as I am not on their mailing lists.

Was it titled ''confirmation of the set up of direct debit''

If so i got the sae letter and i paid with my debit card, but i'd read it again if it is the same letter cos it actually says, ''if you have NOT yet made your first deposit from your linked account, please send a cheque for £1''

So i think its just a standard letter. No ned to send a cheque.

Hi princesswoo, yes it was that letter!

I did only glance through it as was leaving to pick up DD from nursery. Just had a rwad aain and I think your right..... just a standard letter and with the words 'IF' you have not..... thanks for that!!! :D
