Deposit £1 into ING DIRECT and get £20

Simply followed the link from this thread (no personal letter received) - opened account, deposited £1 with debit card and now £21 showing up in my a/c. Success !!

OP here.Glad so many got there £20.After the last post I checked my account [and my wife,s] and we both had received the £20 bonus today..Whoopee..Something gone right at last[[I,ve had a bad 2 weeks]

Just checked mine shows check as cleared on the 23rd of July- and no £20 credit might it still come? or am I an unlucky one?

Nope, I didn't receive it unfortunately. Unsure as to why some people are getting it and some aren't, unless you are on their mailing list but haven't received anything from them.

It did say originally that bonus would be paid within 28 days.so dont give up hope..Mine only showed yesterday and I was the first on here to apply.

Opened my account, and sent the cheque over a week ago now, cheque has cleared but not recieved my welcome pack so can't log in til I get that.......cos i've tried!!!! I desperately want to see if i've got the £20!!!!

I haven't received my welcome or any communication telling me my account was opened but I can login and see my initial deposit in the balance.

I deposited £5000 but didn't receive the £20 bonus.

Similar thing occurred to me.I opened an account for my wife paying the initial £1 deposit by D/D.The D/D left our current account last week and by this morning we still hadn't received the welcome pack.
My wife had to ring ING thismorning to request her details.They said a welcome pack had been sent out over a week ago which we obviously didn't receive.
Anway the good news was that her account had indeed been opened and had been credited with the £20 opening offer.
