I opened 2 accounts one for myself and one for OH, we got back from holiday on Sat to find our welcome packs and both of our accounts have been credited with the £20 and 0.02pence interest already.0

I recieved my welcome pack, but i cannot for the life of me remeber my pin of memorable date, i wrote it down, but its been misplaced, so im going to have to contact them to sort it out.
So i have no idea if i was lucky enough to get the £20.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
got the free £20 for my mum, dad and brother! I couldn't apply because I already used the previous offer they did a while back.
So much for it being for a certain mailing list0 -
They would not honour it for me. Seems unfair that some people who only opened it for the cashback got it, yet others like myself who set up a direct debit intending to use the account as a savings account did not recieve it.
Doesnt say a great deal about them as a financial insitution if they cannot be consistent in decsions such as this.0 -
Why are people complaining that they haven't (yet) got their £20 ?
The offer explicity said that the £20 would be credited within 28 days of the account being set up. Numerous people here have had their accounts for a few days only.
Have a little patience, if the 28 days have been and gone and still no £20 then start complaining!0 -
I ve spoken to them, I wont be getting it. What concerns me is that why some get it and not others.0
-
Well as nobody should have got it [unless invited],just be grateful for those of us[including me and my mrs],who did.
edit..noticed that sounded a bit harsh..meant to be taken light-heartedly..0 -

I wouldn't always believe what a C/S agent tells you. The systems are automated, they'll probably know little about promotions and they're very unlikely to know who exactly will get the £20. Wait and see!0 -
Haven't got the £20 yet, but I don't much care, although it would be a nice bonus. Have just set up a regualar payment to it to start off my post-uni fund** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

How do you know that people only opened the accounts for the £20 cashback?
My OH and myself both set up direct debits on our accounts for regular savings.0
