I spent over £200 and didn't get offered free nominated delivery...i had to pay 3.50 for delivery...where was this?

This was in the offers section under delivery. Try phoning them up and saying that you forgot to put code in and they may give you postage back. I was made to make 2 seperate orders as it would not accept all the items I wanted, I called this morning and there was no problem refunding the £3.50 I was made to pay because of this.

I wish I'd listened to my own advice I gave on here about nominated delivery! Most of my items are out of stock online now but no movement on my account. Same happened last year where about 5 items out of 20 were out of stock when they put the order together despite being available when I ordered.

I don't like the sound of that, the same happend to me at Christmas but yet again I have not learnt by my mistakes!

Thanks, I've already sent them an email asking them to change my delivery type and refund the charge. The standard delivery date is coming up at 30th July !!! Which in my experience means that it's pretty likely that the whole lot will get cancelled in about a weeks time !! The only time I;ve got an online sale order is when I've got it as soon as possible - I've no idea how their stock system works, when you're online things go out of stock as others order them, but even if you order successfully they seem to run out of stock by the time they've got round to despatching your order....I don't know why I put myself through it each time !!!

I really do not understand why they do not listen to their customers? This happens every sale  The stock system is obviously outdated and unable to cope with this yet every time it happens they tell us that they are working to improve it and yet we are still waiting for it to happen. Another sale another anxious wait to see if we get any of the items we ordered. I will second you with, 'Why do I put myself through it?'

    Hi,

Does anybody know what it means if you scroll down your order and some of the items can be 'changed' but some no longer have the option to change the order. Does it mean that you will definitely get the items that you cannot change? Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks.

That's the way it's worked for me in the past. I reckon while you can still change it - labelled 'items not yet despatched'- they've not yet located one to send you; when it becomes unchangeable and says 'items to be despatched soon' then they've found one & picked it for you!

Unless we all stop buying from them, I suspect they won't change anything.

It looks like they don't pick your order until it's near your delivery date, therefore, if someone comes along and orders the same thing after you but has chosen to have it delivered before you, then they get it.

They're well aware of the problems, which have been very well documented across the net for years - and reported to them many, many times. But they don't care, because people keep on buying from them.

And yes - your order doesn't get picked until close to the delivery date. If you've already paid for it, that's just bad luck - it will go to the person who chose to pay the extra and have it delivered before you.

As I have said before last sale I spent 45 minutes on bus to collect order from store only to find out when there that they had cancelled the whole lot without even telling me . When I complained told donnt take any notice of stock numbers on net as they are not true. Like you all why do I bother, in this day and age you would think they could could update their system they make enough profit from us after all.
