Did anyone who ordered online last night get a confirmation email? I did 3 orders and didn't get any. The orders are on my account so fingers crossed.

I did the same as you and placed 3 orders last night. No confirmation emails as yet - but have had a dispatch email for part of one of the orders.

I paid extra for nominated delivery tomorrow. I hope eveything comes!

Noticed small glitch on M&S Mens luxury shirts some are in sale at £25 if buy second will get for halfprice, so potentially 2 good quality shirts for £37.50.

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Luxury-Shirts-Formal-Shirts-Shirts-Mens/b/43522030#viewID=results&rs=43522030&page=1&rh=n:43522030&showAll=&show60PerPage=&show12PerPage=&sort=price&isBrowse=1

Seems they may have just altered this glitch as when tried earlier it took dscount from sale shirts, now it is not removing it, although it does state at top all luxury shirts buy one get one half price, so might be worth contacting customer services to get the dicount removed if anyone interested.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

After my experiences the last time, NO.

I'll go down to the shop as there they won't remove my purchases one by one from the basket till nothing is left.

IMO, the on-line 'shop' is woefully inadequate. Instore, you get trampled [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE] a lot but at least you come away with your choices!

M&S have the worst online shopping system (apart from River Island!). I was online around 9.30am had 4 items in my basket, then they all disappeared and went out of stock and then it happened again with some othr items. If you have items in your basket they should at least give you chance to search the site and then buy the items. What a load of nonsense - in the store at least people wont take items out of your basket! Abandoned it in the end!

I never complain, but after I ordered I also received an email saying that I can earn 5x the points on my M&S card if I shop in sale... Yes, you are reading right, it came AFTER I ordered and I have to say that tipped me over the edge.

So I wrote to them to complain - I have to say they replied within hours (rather then days) and gave me the extra points manually:T and said that they will pass my comments about their system to feedback and technical team...

I also told them that I think it is naff and if they have a look on the "blogs" they will see that I am not the only displeased customer.

What annoys me even more is that I am a premium card holder with them and spend a fortune, I have yet to receive an email to tell me that the sale has started and also offering me extra points for shopping in the sale!!!!!! This to me is is terrible customer service!

Debenhams sadly are much worse. They will take the money for items that are not available and sometimes take weeks to give it back, or not at all if you don't notice on your bill. Next are just as bad at sale time. I have never heard about my Christmas sale deliveries so just assume they won't be coming after all these months...nightmare.

The M&S site's been like this for years - and I mean years. They make all the right noises when you complain, but nothing ever gets done to improve things. The whole company's living in the past, and on past reputation - they'll pay the price eventually.

I've also been seriously put off various purchases by the customer feedback. A lot of adverse comment about poor quality. That's one area in which they're certainly not living in the past - it used to be excellent quality. Now it's little better, if at all, than Primark and co.

I got an automated confirmation, but in my account the order has been split in 2 and both have the status of dispatching soon, not sure if will actually get them for my nominated delivery day of friday 23rd as that is tomorrow and would have thought they would have already despatched by now. To be honest with M&S sale items I never truly believe the items I ordered are mine until they arrive on my doorstep as their system is rather error strewn. I think you just have to not worry too much if all the stuff does not arrive. Saying that I have in the past received some very good bargains from the glitches in their system so it does work both ways.

One large order today - supposedly for nominated day delivery tomorrow. Still shown as 'Items to be despatched soon'. I wonder if they'll mess this one up as well as all the others?

Placed order last night around 12.10am and got an immediate confirmation email. I opted for delivery tomorrow and at 6.55pm tonight got a 'your items have been dispatched' email.

I spent more than £150 so got the free nominated delivery, the soonest I could get was next Tuesday, I am not holding my breath that I will get all the items, if any, by the time they get round to my order!
