Thanks, I didn't know that. Maybe that is the criteria he falls under then.

Perhaps Autism is a severe mental impairment. Maybe Breast Cancer Survivor can shed some light on this?

I for one am not on here 12 hours aday.

I have problems sleeping due to insomnia so i'm usually on late at night to early hours of the morning as i'm asleep for most of the day. :p

Maybe if you tried to alter your sleep pattern you would sleep better and then your kids could get to school on time but no doubt you scream your autism when the schools want to know about you kids erratic attendance.

My health problems led my to sleep in that pattern but being a mother I couldnt fulfil my parental role like this so I sought help and now even though I dont sleep I can rest my mind and body by relaxation therapies.

If you must know which of course you will as your a nosey old witch.

Social services became involved due to my kids attendance & following me having a car crash in the school car park due to the effects of my sleeping pills.

The main reason my oh moved in was to take the kids to school & since then they haven't been late or missed a day unless they were ill or I had to attend a medical appointment.

Social services don't think i'm a bad mother so why the hell should I give a rats !!! what you think?

    Exactly, I don't. :T

I think your just stalking me now.

She was horrified when she saw what they had done to me so i've got the guilt of upsetting my mum on top of everything else that i'm dealing with.
    .

Why would you feel guilty about upsetting your mother when she abused you as badly as you've said?
  • Why would you feel guilty about upsetting your mother when she abused you as badly as you've said?

    Because she is my mother.

I have repect for my parents unlike kids of today.

My dad used to drag me off my chair & beat the crap out of me if I hadn't eaten all of my dinner in the time alotted when I was 3 or 4.

He is still my dad & I still love him although I know that what he did to me was wrong hence I don't hit my kids.

After my 2 son's father left & a few weeks after i'd had my 2nd son I went out for a few drinks with my sister.

I didn't want to go as I had a headache but took some meds & went out anyway.

A few hours later she phoned my dad to tell him I was drunk, he & my brother marched into the pub threw me over his shoulder & carried me out.

When I got home (my home not theirs) he hit me on the leg several times leaving a big red hand print (I was 23 years old).

I am still terrified of my dad now & he only has to look at me a certain way to make me feel like a little girl again but I still love him.

I love my mum too but think she should of protected us from my dad better although I understand that she has frightened of him too.

I remember him coming home from work one night & being in a terrible mood, i don't know what my mum had done wrong but I heard her crying & walked into the kitchen to see her laid on the floor & my dad kicking her.

Please don't generalise about an entire generation. You have no idea whether or not those who do not respect their parents are in the majority, and I can promise you that they are not.

I've just been defending you in the other thread and asking for courtesy, and I would ask that you show that same courtesy and avoid generalising about strangers, please.

I appreciate the apology - but if you're talking about your own kids, please specify that next time? Being generalised about is something that really sets me off.
