To bidet or not bidet? Survey please?

New bathroom coming up and my husband thinks it should have a bidet, I don't. Would people leave their thoughts please?

    Yes...have a bidet. An excellent and most useful appliance.

    I used to have one and we really miss not having it.

    If you have room for one, why not? You don't have to use it.

    Trouble is it connects to cold pipe which will be cold to use in the UK.They have them ever where in India and most times the water is too hot coming out of it there !

    I'd say it's 2010 and not 1970! Can't see the point myself. Maybe it's because I've never had one so you can't miss what you haven't had. Having said that the only other person I've known with one only ever used it as a dog bowl!

    only required by clean bits fetish peeps. usually with some form of OCD.
    one shower per day (two a day in the summer) is enough for me.
    Get some gorm.

    I could never understand why people want to fit one of these. Why waste space, when its easier to just wash your feet in the bath or shower?

    It's something i've never thought of but imho that little hand held thing looks a good idea.
