Just to let everyone know that when the burger people want to query a report they are required to "identify" the shopper/car. It's part of gaps "do they actually have the right person" check so I wouldn't worry about it. They always make me taller than I really am :)
  • Seriously Gyp need to value their people a bit more. It did make me laugh the person that has their reg number up in the wall of the kitchen!

I need to ask a question as am a tiny bit miffed. I had an email from I think it might be the company that doesnt like being named, begins with "E", saying that I can now self assign. Well that lasted long, and I am no longer able to. This stopped when I think I had a job where I was awaiting something in the post, and the close date was a Monday I believe. I got a reminder to do it, but didn't send back the envelope with the risk of the item then arriving that morning. Everything was then actioned immediately after the post.

Have I been penalised because of this?

There is a job I really want to do Saturday but haven't been accepted yet so GRRRRR.

    xxxx

Maybe give them a ring and ask them? They're usually fairly helpful :)

Your allowed to name ESA. Not sure about your other questions though.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • Thanks peeps, have dropped them an email, I didn't realise there were contact emails in the original welcome mail.

And LOL, ok, I will not be scared of mentioning ESA again, I think they are a lovely company and I love the jobs I have done so far!

Does anyone have an email for a top person at BARE please.

Just had an email telling me they wont be paying for a supermarket job I did as the date on the receipt has been altered. It hasn't, but there is a line running vertically through the receipt which does go through the date. The person at BARE has basically emailed me and said "You've altered the receipt and therefore we won't pay you".

I plan to take this further unless they relent.

Not a head honcho but I had a problem recently and got an email through to the project manager and it was resolved.

Have to say I was less than impressed as I had done a lot of extra work to resolve the issue, had been in regular contact with the allocator all through the shop and then had an email probably similar to yours. I don't think I will be shopping for them again as they can't be trusted to deal with issues arising properly. Previously, one of my favourite companies. :(

Has anyone who has done ESA eggs ever come across one of the supermarkets changing to a TOTALLY DIFFERENT brand of supermarket. I don't mean the one they are in partnership with or took over but a completely different one? I went to it today and didn't progress with the shop as I know they are totally unrelated.

I took a photo of the front as proof but dont know where to go from there. Any clues? Who do I email or phone?

I had one were there were two stores close together, and one had been sold on to a company begining with H. I would ring them, as it is likely to be a mistake. I got paid for my visit.

I got queried for one drive thru because of the times involved. The cctv backed me up. Still do the shop though and the staff obviously have my car reg pinned up on the notice board. I'm in and out in 40 seconds nowadays. I'm happy and they're happy.

I think our local one must have my car reg number pinned up as well. Doesn't help that it's a personal plate and instantly recognisable!! I popped in yesterday after doing my 10 lists for GFK, just to get a coffee, it was about 11am so quiet in there, and as I approached the main door I saw them all literally jump to attention behind the counter and 2 of them rushed forward, all smiles as I entered, "Good morning, welcome to GreasyBurgersRUs, can I help you?" I milked it for all it was worth, asked for a coffee, paid with a debit card and asked for a receipt LOL.

Was chuckling to myself as I left!

I've not seen anything other than coffee, chicken and pizza on there for ages. (I don't do burgers, said I was vegetarian to stop them ringing me!!)

Ring the number on the notes you have - think it says 'in case of any problems/emergencies only'. I visited one that was shut for refurbishment - they told me to take a photo of the sign saying they were closed for refurb. Uploaded that and was paid the fee with no problems.
