  • quick qu please (sorry if been asked, not got time rto search. where can i find the code i need for gap? the notice board msg will not load and i need to leave in a minute to do. i have opened notes and questions and cannot see it. it is a reshop from last month so maybe it was not required then? not done a burger for 2 months so not sure! thanks

Still hasn't started yet as far as I know... Just checked what I have outstanding for them and there's no code on any of them
  • I have just seen in my ESA "available" list that I can select a shop as a "backup" saying it has been allocated to someone else but I can put my name down as backup if they do not complete it. Is this something new???
I've got one of those too. Must be a new thing. No, wonder as they usually only give you a day or two notice to let you know that your application has been sucessful before you have to do the assignment. I bet loads of people cancel because the notice is too short.

It's probably happened a few times. I've done at least two where they were closing down in a couple of days because the shop had been sold to another company. I would expect ESA to be ok with this, they've been good with any unexpected problems I've had.
On another note, has anyone ever had their results for assignments queried by ESA? I've done over 100 now and have never had a query. I wonder if the reports actually get proof read?

They definitely do get proof read but I think their questionnaires are designed to be nigh on impossible to get wrong. If there's something missing or a question not answered it won't let you save without fixing them problem.

I've had one query for the travel client, the shop claimed that they had called me when they should have and they'd called me the day after the time was up...

It took about six weeks for the query to filter back from the store to the client to esa to me and it was just a quick phone call from them along the lines of "the store have said xyz can you confirm?"

  • Hi, quick question please, I have done a few egg jobs today, but I was under the impression that the maximum 'spend', is the maximum you would get reimbursed.... I have spent over this, with getting a couple of other goods, will my report still be accepted? I only expect to get reimbursed the two items I should have bought??:(

Yes it will. I ended up buying a few things because there were some lovely looking strawberries on offer because it was the last date, so of course I needed some ice cream to go with them :rotfl:
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

You just get reimbursed the amount you're allowed to spend up to so say for instance the maximum spend is 10 pounds and you spend 15, they will give you back 10 and the report is still valid. If you only spend 8, then they will only give you 8. I've spent over and under in the past and have always had my reports accepted.

I'm seeing these too for the Ireland visits. May I add I couldn't care less if anyone has picked them or not, I don't want to see the visits in Ireland! Errr.

Re: EGGS, if the shop has a toilet but someone is in it and is not out after 10 minutes, am I supposed to lurk around until it becomes free?

Also, just picked up an EGGS shop with 1/3 more for the fee than the others I did this week. How comes?

Happy Eid to anyone who may be celebrating it this weekend. :A:A
