Ellieseleven wrote: »Just a bit of an update on my month so far...
Managed 8 NSD'S so far so on track to reach my target for the month.
Still no spends on clothes so far this year;)
Keeping up with putting £2 a day away and have £154 so far.
OH not speaking to me as I asked if he had finished with the bucket of wallpaper paste that has been sitting in my dining room since Christmas. I admit that I was sarcastic but the response from him was over the top. Basically, he is a bully (not violent these days, too much exertion involved). It's times like this when I could quite easily just throw the towel in and walk away. Instead I try to focus on what I'm going to do when I am debt-free and no longer living half a life:o
Anyway, I've probably upset him today by waking up as he said that he hoped that I wouldn't.
Ellie:(
I'm sending you the biggest of all hugs:grouphug: as I totally empathise with you over the OH situation. I'm just going to check my OH is still here as it sounds like he's living a double life and is there living with you:eek:
Keep smiling, things can only get better:dance:. That's what I keep telling myself but those days are a long time coming:(0 -

Ellie - sorry you are having a bad time with your OH. Don't you just love that you have somewhere you can immediately come and vent to your virtual friends and family. I had to smile at carboots commentDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Thank you everyone for your kind comments, you all help to keep me sane. I have to vent on here as there is nowhere/no one else to offload to and if I bottle things up it makes life unbearable.
OH definitely uses attack as a form of defence and then piles the guilt on. He's just informed me that he thinks he has something wrong with his prostate:eek: This is the norm, have a row and then make me feel sorry for him but this is wearing very thin now. I've told him to go to the doctor.
There can't be more than one, can there Carboot?:eek::eek:
It seems that I'm not on my own with a difficult OH and I'm sending hugs back to all of you:grouphug:
I'm going out to see my grandson for the afternoon and he always brightens my day;)
Take care

Popping in with some support too and wondering if you have to wait till you are debt free before escaping from a life with such a bully. Considering you also seem to be providing for him for half of the year, you might well be better off on your own, even with the debt.
Hope you are having a better day today. X0 -
Thanks Moneywhizz,
I am having a better day today;)
I would be better off without OH and I know that but I am hanging onto my house until the time is right to sell, then I can move on. My plan is to move abroad once the debt is cleared so I am willing to put up with my situation for a while longer. All the time that I am here my mortgage is reducing and I do have a lot of equity built up in the house.
There is method in my madness:o
