Thank you all for the help. I have complained as when it usually arrives it's a longer date (still all the same date but usually longer) but I've put a few in the freezer to prolong the life.

Just to let you know I've had a quick reply from my complaint to Tesco & they are refunding 4 of my 6 so I thought that was fair play to them. thanks everyone

    Hi Folks

Does anyone know if its possible to freeze milk ( I buy "the one" or semi skimmed) . I am trying to save money by only shopping once a week, but I always need to go to get fresh milk and then end up buying other stuff that I dont need.

    Thanks
    Waddle you do eh?

Yes, milk freezes well. It will go a creamier colour, but reverts to normal white when you defrost it. I have only frozen it in plastic bottles etc - I'm not sure how cardboard cartons would behave on defrosting but should be ok - and then I wash the plastic bottles in Milton alike solution and fill them up with milk from plastic bags or supersized plastic containers to save money.
