I wish it was that straightforward! No, I had to fill in a questionnaire online, and they sent me a form to complete which I have to return with proof of income support and child tax credit. I so wish I'd been born with the organised gene that the rest of my family has!
Gailey... don't laugh (well, you can if you like) but appaently putting cabbage leaves on your boobs is a great help. Just make sure you close the curtains first!!
I think that is more for when you actually have mastitis, what we used to call "milk fever". It draws out the inflammation.Felines are my favourite

Jediteacher, this happens on a lot of forums, there are times when you just need to have a break.
I hope you are okay and that you will return to this forum when you are ready.
Take care.Felines are my favourite

Jediteacher....hugs, talk to us when you can.
Gailey....the cabbage leaf thing works, saw my daughter do it and she was fine in a couple of days. Another remedy is small amount of Epsom salts in warm water first thing in the morning....good luck with either remedy as remember how painful engorged breasts can be.
Good on you Annie 56! Hope that you can keep your clio, I love my 02 one....

Annie - you make me laugh! Good for you!Love your spirit
gailey - cold cabbage leaves can help with inflammation even if it's not mastitis. I am v surprised HV advised cold turkey - distressing for both of you. Dropping 1 feed every 4-5 days is usually the easier option... Re shoes, I wouldn't buy s/h ones for LO (jmo) - their feet are SO easy to damage as teh bones are so soft and malleable. As you're in Bristol, have you ever been to the Clarks outlet at Worle, down by Weston? Closer than Street for you. Also, if the LO is toddling, you can go stright into walking shoes if you give it about a fortnight for them to be less wobbly. And no shoes in the house (which is pretty much where she'll be walking the vast majority of the time, I'd guess) is always the best optionI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Who's that one? I get mixed up.
