    Annie, you go girl

I knew of someone who was able to prove that certain big ticket items were bought for her as presents because although her husband paid for them the receipts were all dated very close to her birthday/Christmas. If he was stingy with actual presents but bought things in the sale that might be something to think about
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

  • Annie56, great post, where were you 8 years ago when I kicked my ex husband out? He cheated on me but I didnt want to look like the bad one so I let him take whatever he wanted while I was at work on his moving out day. If only I knew then what I do now....

Quiet day, pouring with rain for the school run, blue skies now. Took DS2 library then to farmfoods for bread and tin toms which were 4 for £1.

    Hope everyones okay xx

Annie - well done, and no doubt the smile will be wiped off your ex's face when he walks through the door and finds much of the stuff has disappeared. Good luck in your new environment. We'll be watching your future with interest (and support).

  • Hiya gailey, sorry to hear you're feeling so rough. I remember living on cheese on toast for several weeks as that was all I could handle!

Could you express a little bit of milk just to relieve the pressure? Your supply will go down but it does take time - have you stopped completely? Be careful you don't get mastitis hun, that's the last thing you want.

Re shoes, I would consider getting soft 2nd hand ones for wearing when out of the house but tbh I was always told that they are better off bare footed when they are toddling around learning to walk properly.
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

Its my 1st time with cherry tomatoes. I'm growing them in a hanging basket and so far have had 3lbs at least. I am so impressed with them, all ripe and delicious. I'm growing double next year. Here in the North West its been really wet this year. I planted a courgette plant (grown from seed) in an old council black recycling box. Worked a treat, still producing. They're easy so give it a go.

Asda have a cleaning event on from today

Well done Annie, only one complaint about what you did though - you didnt leave the webcam on so you can see the reaction!:rotfl:
