Lol - I counted the sausages for 2 people because i don't tend to eat a lot of meat - mainly chicken but I will eat pork loins too and mince but I don't like things like burgers/hotdogs etc. Should add to that I am taking a multivitamin so I'm getting some goodness in me from that each morning because I have to be carefully because I get really anaemic really quickly.
Got to add Im not naturally someone with a big appetite anyway though - never have had one but am making sure I have three meals a day at the minute - even if its toast for brekkie, sandwich for lunch and a dinner (of some description)
Have been wondering if bank people would be able to reinstate my repayments if I promise to go down first thing Tuesday morning and put in enough to cover the charge I'll be getting and the repayment for this month -as well as the few quid I'm over by. Can but ask and at least it shows willing. Still might see about moving payment though.Time to find me again0 -
That's a real shame Sammy as you seemed to have it all worked out. Would your Oh consider letting you hold the pursestrings totally for a while? That way, you could give him the petrol money etc when he needed it and make sure that his maintenence etc was paid when it was due.
I am a lot better with money than I used to be, but it took me a long time to be able to budget properly. I always make sure that my bills are paid and 'away' now before I do anything else, just because of the type of person that I am, ie, there's always a road for it, so get rid before the other road opens.;)0 -
sammy - sorry you're having such a tough time atm when you should be enjoying your new babe and not worrying about how to feed your family. You really do seem to be due some good luck. x x xDo what you love :happyhear0

Have you claimed your healthy start vouchers?
I know that the value of them is just a few pounds but 'every little helps' at times like these.:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

Do they not still do the free milk vouchers for people with babies on benefits? If so, are these not enough for your baby's milk, Sammy? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Sammy - I'd still move your payment after this one to another account, makes life easier. We have two accounts one for bills which wages etc go in and one for money were puting away to pay a DD at a different time of the month or it would just get spent.
I got those sausages last night too, they had loads!Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
Have just got back from the vets (told a white lie of where I was going to DD which I feel bad about but I didnt want her coming) pups no better and there waiting for some test results and then may do a renal biopsy tommorow. My other pup is attached to my hip.
Lindy - im sure seeing me inject her wont bother my children to be honest as ive tube fed my son at home during his illness and have to syringe many different medicines in him on a daily basis. He actually now takes the syringe of me and takes the medicine and we sing a song after. Ive worked in a vets so giving the jabs wouldnt be a problem either.
Sammy ive messaged you
Wishing you all a lovely bank holidayMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
