I've had a miserable start to today as when I popped out earlier to do some mystery shopping a little old man who was not paying any attention to the road smashed into the back of me! All this after I've just forked out £1000 to get the car fixed. Luckily my hubby is home today and my little girl was with him and not in the car!
I've had to take my back medication as I've jarred it but I'm not suppose to be taking it as we're trying to conceive and the specialist at the recurrent miscarriage surgery told me not to take it anymore. However, I really need to take it as I don't want my back to get worse. So much for any good karma coming my way.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Oh jediteacher, i'm so sorry to read about your car accident. I recently had two separate occasions where cars driven by careless and unobservant drivers looking at shops and people passing (and not at the my car directly in front of them at the traffic lights) rather than looking ahead and putting their brakes on, carried on driving into the back of my car. Fair does my head in it does. Your accident sounds more serious though so i do hope your back problems don;t cause you too much trouble. Perhaps you should get checked out at the hospital or doctors, just to be on the safe side?Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Hi all, my youngest son goes back to school next Thursday and my eldest goes back on Monday the 6th. These summer holidays are to long, both of them are getting fed up now. This weekend we are going down to our local park. Every August bank holiday we have a big show from the re-enactments society (those people who dress up and play battles from different periods of history). Its really interesting. They set up camps and you can wander round the camps and they tell you all about their particular era. Really know their stuff. Theres also a horticulture tent with the prize winners plants and things are on show. There are stalls where you can buy things, the rangers are there doing different activities for the kids, an old fashioned bus is usually there for the kids to look at. We love it. Hope you all enjoy your bank holiday weekend, whatever you are doing.
Oooh, my DS used to love those when he was younger.
Went to Morrisons and got three of those big boxes of Daz. Also the milk on 50p offer which I thought had finished and bread at 50p. Only bought a few other things so quite pleased with myself.
Thanks Hippychiq for advice on only taking exact money but had to get it out of cash machine first.

Jedi - take the medication if you need it. Thats the thing when TTC you have to be so careful. I remember it with DD id happily suffer a headache instead of taking a tablet just incase. When I had my last misscarriage they gave me very strong painkillers and I really didnt feel with it at all
Ive got a laod of towels on the line as we speak which im hoping will dry. Its that funny sort of weather although its not raining its still wet in the air IYKWIM
The dogs a bit upset so if shes not perked up by 2pm I shall phone the vet

Afternoon all.....................(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.....
We rae trying to get the sitting room back to normal, expecting the insulation people at some point this afternoon to top up the insulation in the roof, we should be nice and warm this winter. We had the fire on last night, my goodness, what a heat it sent out, the little eco fan pushed the heat out into the hall and the bathroon was noticably warmer.
I had a Drs appointment, I really should arrange to have the first appointment at 8.30am....miine was 9.10am and it was 3/4of an hour later that i got in to see him.
When i got back we did a bit of cleaning and then decided to nip into Aldi and buy an electric chain saw, I do not know if its a good idea or not, I have a feeling I will end up using it rather than OH, but it means we can do foraging for wood on the estate and cut it up, then stack it. We do need to get a new axe, the one we got from wilkinsons is not brilliant, we are going to have to cut the wood smaller for the new stove.
It was a dull morning, but the sun is out now, I am going to hang my curtains on the line for an hour or so before I put them back up....we have all the glass and china to wash from the wall unit, then it can go back. We then have to move the settee back, it moves out fine, but trying to move it back is a pain in the back!! Its so blooming heavy......I keep saying I am going to freecycle it, its more than 15 years old and still in good condition......the bed in it makes it so heavy to move though.
Cleaning the bookcase and wall unit it was astounding how much od the sooty dust had settled, a damp cloth soon dealt with it, hopefully now it will be mostly clean.....thank heaven it did not travel through to the bedrooms.
Cuppa calls, then I have to crack on so the sitting room is stright tonight....................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
