  • last week I had problem with my passport. and home office might not be able to give my passport in time. so i tried to contact 9flight just in case that i have to change the flight.

    by email, phone and live chat. as u guys mentioned before, a staff kept me waiting over and hour on live chat. by email, they answered me just the first email and when i replied they didnt answer.

    fortunately, i didnt have to change the flight

    if you have to contact them i think you need plenty of time.

    my mum booked for 3 people for 14 nights and then booked for me for 11, her booking was fine (so far, £1500 on CC), mine had a problem, we phoned up and the man on the phone sorted it, CC bill comes in and he has only booked me on the plane twice, for the last two weeks my mum has tried phoning to sort this and they say they wont budge, she is not paying for my double booking on the CC bill obviously and the CC are putting it through to their complaints department but horrible horrible service from 9flights and we are contemplating cancelling the other booking, if it even exists.

    I've booked my flights to Kilimanjaro with this company a couple of months ago. I had the confirmation email, and the following day the tickets email.

    However, having found this forum post I'm very concerned about this company. I'm climbing Kilimanjaro and have booked the trip, so I have no room for movement if anything goes wrong with the flights.

    I've checked the tickets at both KLM and the website in the email link Amadeus checkmytrip (is this a reputable website?) and the tickets do seem OK. It's reassuring to see the tickets exist on the KLM website, should I be safe with this? Obviously excluding airline changes which is out of the hands of the agents.

    The site is full of spelling errors, even when it says one moment while we search for flights there is a typo in that!

    I booked because I came across the site from a legitimate price comparison site. When I paid it was via an SSL secure site and I paid by card anyway so would have been protected.

    I have checked on the KLM website and my tickets have been booked with them so the site is genuine. I think it's just ran by 1 person though or a very tiny operation.

    I booked a ticket for my friend this afternoon through 9flights.I was told by 'live chat' supporter 'Sophie' that I would get the 2nd email in 15-30 minutes after she authorised the booking. However,I have not received anything so far(around 7hours passed). I used Google and have read all these posts above. I was really scared that it was a scam.

    I went to their website and checked 'My Booking'.After entering the Reservation Number and Traveller Last Name,I found the 'E Ticket'!!
    I don't know if it is genuine. Hope it is!!
  • 9Flights is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with, I have not saved money with them at all.

    They have got my details wrong and as a result I have had to call them up on various premium rate numbers to try and solve the issue, they still have not resolved it with me and infact they are so unprofessional. I have been lied to, ignored and hung up by them.

    Anyone thinking that you can save money this way PLEASE don't book with them!!!:mad:

    9Flights came up on Skyscanner as the cheapest. Never heard of them, so booked with Lastminute for a few quid more. Looks like a wise decission!

    Good Afternoon,
    My son booked a one way ticket with 9flights this morning to Bangkok. As with any 22 year old cheapest prices, no research, just get me there. I decided a little research was required and soon found a couple of forums containing more negative comments than positive ones. The fact that the telephone number and website address appear UK based, I fear this is not the case. You can have a UK telephone number anywhere in the world. My son received an email immediately confirming the following:

    Thank you for authorizing the payment for booking reference: *****
    Your payment will be processed and E Tickets will be sent to your email with in 24 hours.
    Please call us if your flight is in next 24 hours on +44(0)203 376 9600.

    I noticed on a previous comment that the person had gone onto the main 9 flights website and entered in their surname and reservation number and it displayed their E-Ticket, I did the same and it did. I then called KLM who are the first leg of the flight and they confirmed the ticket was booked in my son’s name and could not be changed/cancelled by 9flights. I asked the person at KLM if I should also confirm this with China Airlines (the second part of the journey). She advised me there was no need the flight was 100% booked. So I feel a little more at ease now and hope this helps anyone in a similar position.
    I will of course keep the forum updated if there are any changes to this. So I guess I have to say a trouble free experience up to now !!!

    Maybe you've been lucky? I've read far too many complaints on other sites to trust them. I also find it rather odd that as soon as anyone has said anything negative about them a newbie arrives on the scene saying how good they are;)

    Absolutely appalled by 9 Flights service - I have been ignored by your frankly appalling staff whose English is very poor, my refund has been witheld for nearly two months now and apparently you're unable to answer emails/phone calls or give any information. Disgusted

    Hello, I am a very disgruntled customer who is being ignored via email. I have sent countless to three email addresses, and am unable to call on a mobile from Australia. Please can somebody just respond to me and help me? I need a refund processed immediately after the flights I booked through your site couldn't be offered to me at that price, I have since been told that money wasn't taken out of my account however I can confirm it has been and now no one is responding to me - I am very concerned. Booking number : BUK-0263115.
