  • Have you never heard of medical miracles TWH?? He was released on humanitarian grounds, same as Ronnie Biggs was, but you can't do this and then demand they return to prison if their terminal illness drags on past a certain date. That would be barbaric and wrong.

It was massively political. Lots in it for the UK, trust me on this....

As for the little scrote, I hope he p!sses blood for the rest of his miserable, cancer-ridden existence.

There was a nod from the government shortly after the release that it wasn't really on medical ground. Sky News did an investigation, but basically we won't know for (I think) 30 years what the actual release grounds were.

    He shouldn't have been released.

Compassionate release, where was his compassion for all those that died and their famalies.

We are far too lenient in our country.
The punishment should suit the crime, then you would see a real deterrant and reduction in crime.

Graham, 100% correct. Check out ofr energy deals that came out shortly after and will happen in the near future too.
  • they should have had a deal that he died within 3 months, and if he didn't, they kill him. or he could go back to prison.

anyway, irrespective of the rights and wrongs, I just wanted to make sure no one forgot he was still alive and the lefty was 100% wrong.
  • dirty little grubby lefty deals. justice should come before deals. the lefty is as low as a snakes belly.

hateful lefties. they will probably blame thatcher for this some how.

Nope, simply he should never had been released.
I'm a harsh !!!!!! when it come to crime.

Steal and get your hand cut off.
Kill and then have the death sentence.

Why pay to try and rehabilitate people when figures show so much re-offending.

Yes, it;s harsh on those that do become rehabilitated, but if there was a much harsher system, then there would be a greater deterrent for those to do wrong in the first place.

He should have been killed, else the very least be in prison until the day he would have been carried out in a coffin.

the title of this forum is Debate House Prices & the Economy

this comes under the Debate part.

if that is not good enough for you, it comes under the Economy part because prisons are part of the economy, as are the political reasons for his release.

    its all the economy stupid.
